Battle Tuning N14 Groupbuy

Battle Tuning has established themselves as the premier dealer for DNA Tuning. While DNA is our parent company, Battle Tuning is here to promote their powerful tuning capabilities for the 2nd gen R5x MINIs.

We realize that the N14 platform has been abandoned and many start and then do not continue to promote their tune, but that's where it changes. Battle Tuning and DNA Tuning are here to stay. Our goal is to support and carry out your tuning needs!

By utilizing the PowerGate3, we have been able to customize end users without the need of sending your ECU for tuning. This ultimately leaves downtime out of the picture and more time in your road-legal go-kart. Users plug the unit into your existing OBDII port, download your ECU information, import it into the software provided (PC only, MAC users should either bootcamp or run Parallels), send your ECU log to us, and we'll tune to your specifications. It's really easy!

pwg3_spot_a_zpsd8b206c1.jpg

Our tunes are DNA approved, and Battle tested. We have been running in the MINI Challenge Series, so you can trust that we know what we're doing and what we are capable of doing to your MINI.

Stg1:
30-40BHP and 30-40LB. Ft torque (91 octane tested)

Stg2:
45-55BHP and 45-50LB. Ft Torque

Stg3**:
60-70BHP and 55-60LB. Ft Torque

**Stg3 requires users to provide their engine modification list so we can deem whether you will be Battle suitable for this tune.

We believe in our custom tunes and will strive to do the best work possible for your tune, tailored to your requirements. You want a linear feel? Done. Linear throttle? You got it. CEL from decat downpipe getting in your way? Removed! However you want your mapping to be, we can address and fine tune it to your specification.

User, ra2fanatic, has been running both linear and non-linear stg2 maps on his R56 S N14 and has enjoyed his linear mapping. It's understandable since he tracks his MINI and it's easier to know where your power is, instead of having a surge of boost in your face through that tight apex.

Retail pricing is $799 (up to stg3)

Groupbuy pricing is as follows:

Stg1-2: $649
Stg3: $749
Stg4: Inquiries to info@battletuning.com

There is no minimum user requirement to unlock groupbuy pricing, so if we end up with 8 users who want stg3, then 8 are locked in at $749. Get it at these prices while they last!

If there are specifics you are interested in such as what requires are needed to run certain maps or you have even a question about where to start, don't hesitate to ask.

We will be setting up a possible groupbuy for iPE Innotech downpipes, cat and decat, so that may happen depending on traction from you all!

Looking at your signature alone, you would be more than capable of reaching stg3 tune. Let us know when you are ready to purchase.

We are currently taking deposits as our units are drop shipped from UK.

Groupbuy ends Febuary 28th, so be sure to lock in the groupbuy price before it goes up!

Is there any limitations for auto tranny users?

No.

I should elaborate on this. We currently do not have access to read/write the auto controller yet, so surges that auto transmission users have witness can be controlled slightly through software, but to a point. You can still run any tune you please, but that is something you should know.

Do you have to have a aftermarket catback in order to get the stage 3 tune? Or would what I have in my signature work? Thanks.

You should stay with Stage 2 because the JCW exhaust is only 2.25" in diameter. I would recommend Stage 3 with 2.5" diameter. I can make a custom Stage 3 for you, but I feel more confident in saying your MINI would be at Stage 2.

Based on my sig, do you think I would be good to go for a stage 3? I've been waiting a while for you guys to release pricing, I was almost ready to go with RMW, but DNA's affiliation with the MINI Challenge Series has me hooked.

Yeah I think you should be fine with the stage 3 tune cause in one of the previous posts... a guy had almost the same identical mods as you and he was good for stage 3. Think having the fJCW exhaust is what is holding me back from it hence the exhaust diameter. I kinda figured that was the case but wanted to hear someone confirm it for me.

I'm pretty sure you're right. And with tax returns right around the corner, I'm getting itchy.

Stage 3 would fit your need and it helps that you're running water/meth because it'll continue to keep your temps lower and relieve a bit of stress on your block.

Update: DNA was low on stock as well, so new batch won't be shipped until Thursday. Sorry for the delays. Those that have ordered last week and up 'til today will have theirs by end of the week because of our own low stock here.

Thank you for your patience.

Going to be ordering mine next week :D. Really excited for this as it will be my first tuned car. Hopefully Battle decides to do the Downpipe group buy as well!

Downpipe from iPE would require 10 individuals before we can place an order. I'll place a thread in drivetrain area to see who may be interested. They are all catless downpipes.
