Do you have any pictures of the sending units and wiring that need to be tapped in place? Your description and photo make it sound it plugs into the factory wiring harness using the factory sensors, which is not the case, correct?

I installed one of these kits in my MCS with Nav, and it was a (relative) breeze. High quality stuff. Only two wires need to be connected into existing wiring, the rest is a stand-alone wrapped harness.

Oil pressure sender attaches to a custom 'tee' that is installed where the existing sender screws into the block and tucks out of the way, so there is no drilling of filter canisters or anything like that. The boost pressure sensor mounts in a spot inside the cowling and connects cleanly.

My only issues were the fact that my big hands and arms were not having the most fun in the area where the oil pressure sensor is located, and the tubing for the boost gauge was missing. The latter was not a bother to me because I have lots of the stuff, but still.

Oh, and I didnt get any kind of discount like is offered now.

Greatbear...

I also have the Nav in my Chili Red/Black MCS. Do you have a picture of the Promini gauges installed in your MINI w/Nav? Does the steering wheel block the view of the gauges and does the gauges block the A/C vents? Any actual installation shots, as well as intallation instructions, would be appreciated.

I lost some of the completed interior shots I took when I was done, but I have most of the shots I took during the installation. I will take some shots in the daylight tomorrow.

As for the gauges blocking the vents, the right-side gauge pretty much blocks the vent behind it, but does not prevent it's use nor does it stop the air. In fact, I found this to be a plus since that particular vent would usually chill my hand on the wheel no matter how I would aim it, and it would end up being closed anyway. The gauge deflects the air from hitting my hand. The vent on the left is further away from the wheel and gauges, so it's not really blocked at all.

The view is only slightly impeded by the steering wheel. The gauges pivot in the mounts somewhat, so they can be tilted downward. I sit high in the seat and have no problem seeing the gauge faces when adjusted 'normally'. Unless you are the type that drives with the wheel tilted low into your lap, you should not have any problems.

Stay tuned, I will get some pics together.
