this guy is out there somewhere! This is a review of a tire from Tire Rack...
"My driving style is actualy "maniac" but no catagory exists for it. I like to go fast, stop hard, and weave in and out of traffic cones. Any way, these were the OE tires and they served well. The mini cooper service manual adviced against tire rotation but the front got too bald and I had to rotate them. Then in the snow or rain the rear end always slid out, it was fun though, considering the Minis understeer tendency. Before they were worn there was no slide out, so I used the handbrake alot. I dont know what the speed rating was but these tires took up to 143 mph just fine, as well as the hard stop from that speed. I did it just to see if the car could do it and if the tires could handle it. The tires were stable through the corners but lacked the sound of the Continental ContiTouringContact CH95s. They did however have great sound when I poped the clutch at 6000rpm. They still have many miles in them dispite my best efforts, I am replaceing them for Avon Tech M550 A-S, better snow traction. I have already been in five accidents and if I get one more my insurance will be droped, so I need safer tires to match my driving style or lack therof. --Review submitted: 2005-12-03"

BTW, I've had a bunch of accidents. But Mario Andretti didn't get where he got without bending some sheet metal!
And I'm 42, so I've had 26 years to get better with driving. Had a bunch when I was young, but I've been a good boy for quite a while.....Matt
