konig rewind? yay or nay?

I'm thinking about these wheels in 15'' graphite (shown) or silver:

some opinions on these? I searched, didn't come up with much on these so far. I've decided to stick with what I read in the issue of Sport Compact Car about their project Mini and how little wheels look right on a Mini. I've noticed lately that I like how a lot of the smaller wheels look on our cars. Just wanted to get others opinions

They look like the classic "Mini-lite" wheels. I think they look great and would be a perfect fit on a MINI

awesome, barely 5 minutes up and two yay's. haha. only question is, being a 15x7 with a 40mm offset, will this fit fine on stock brakes and calipers? And will it work with upgraded powerslot rotors (stock size)

I can't say if they will fit, but your powerslot rotors won't make any difference to the fitting.

I'd go with the silver color over the two-tone on an EB MCS since the car is so bright I think the dark centers would not look quite right. . .

On a dark silver the two tone would look awesome. . .

I thought about the rewinds and opted for Konig Troubles. I got Konig Incidents on the Prius. I like them both. Do a search for konig rewinds and there's a picture on NAM somewhere.

They look great. But in a MINI application 40-50mm offset you won't get a
deep dish and lip like in the photo. (If I'm wrong let me know)

i had some flat black 15" rotas on for an autocross and a lot of people liked the look on my eb/w. they gave it a meaner look than my normal white wheels. again they were all black so it is a different look than a two tone.

Looks nice! I'd like to see these on a dark silver MCS. Do they come in any sizes larger than 15's?

they look great...I love the 15"

Also consider the ASA JH6...another panasport style rim. Mini center caps work with them.

I have them on mine for winter wheels. I would take a picture if I could ever get my car to stay clean. My mini is EB B and I got the charcol rewinds. In my opinion they look a little too dark for that combination but not too bad either. I'll do my best to get a pic up soon. I think I'll just take my camera to the carwash next time.

Those look great! I've been keeping my eye out for some black/polished rim 15's for a while, and these are right.

I assume you had to use hub adapters? No clearance issues with 40 offset? Did they come with the center hub?

I'd probably run 205/55's, and based on your experience, I'm just about ready to pull the trigger.

Mine.

Tires are 205/55 R15 AVS ES100's. No clearance issues with the 40 offset.

Well, i run even smaller tires with 205/50 and had no problems.

You do need a hub adapter, but those are cheap. I got mine from a miata performance company so the ones they sent were for the miata and not the mini. I just used some spare ones from my old aftermarket rims.

No clearance issues and mine is dropped on H&R's.

For the money, they are a great wheel.

I also love the Rewinds. Is anybody running a 225/50 on them? I did the calculations and the 40mm offset pushes them out enough to clear the struts on the inside but will they clear the fender?
