Tire change
Tire questions are hard
I say tire questions are hard, because there are so many variables and styles. Sounds like you want a summer tire. Many people really like these reasonable priced Firestone FireHawk Indy500’s. Check out the TireRack reviews and ratings. Rated #1 in their category!

Michelin seems to be the best tire to me no matter the category. PS4S in summers are great. There is an all season variant of that too and the AS/4. That’s my thoughts. Tires are subjective but it isn’t like you can try the all out yourself
I'm going with the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4's, I have the Firestone Indy 500's now and they are just to loud for me. They've been great for grip the last 15K but they are definitely getting louder as they wear more. I was looking at the General Gmax AS-05 too.

Well someone @ the tire shop sold the Michelin's they were holding for me, so General GMax's it is. Can't get them on till next week though, just not enough time during the daylight hours.
Blu,
If I may ask, how do you like the General G-Max after two months? Did you get the AS05 or RS model? How is the road noise?
I own a 2016 Countryman JCW ALL4 with 225/40R19 all around. They are the rock hard run-flats so I'm finally looking to put new shoes on her.
