I run 18x8 ET45 with 205/40 tyres. I'm also running a fairly big drop with KW coils.
On full lock you get a smidgen of rubbing up front, but with the natural camber from being lowered there is no rubbing on the rear.
I can't see that you could go much wider or lower offsets without running into the need for arch rolling, camber plates and rear control arms.....

They're getting refinished today now that I've test fit them but it'll still be a while before I can mount them to the car. I'm waiting on my rear adapters to come in.
I'll probably be test fitting them again with tires mounted this weekend though so I'll snap a quick picture.

^that looks fantastic, as I expected! Good work!
I ordered my new wheels and tires today:
O.Z. Alleggerita 17x8 ET35 with 215/45/17 Hankook R-S3. I expect this will be somewhat aggressive. Next up will be coilovers and a little camber.

Thanks! I think so too. The 17's are just a little bit small looking in the wheel wells, but I like how much it allows me to lower the car compared to the 18's.

I love those wheels! Almost got them too, but went with the NM 18" instead. Tires are the hankook ventus v12's. Now to get rid of that wheel gap...

This is how I put 17x8 ET35 Alleggeritas on my F56 (everything can be purchased from tirerack).
So the O.Z. hub rings have an inside diameter (center bore) of 66mm. Our cars have a 66.5mm hub. Even as a red blooded man, I understand sometimes things don't fit...A few minutes with the dremel and I had them fitting like a glove. The fastest way to have made them fit would be to clip them, or cut the ring with the dremel cutting wheel. I don't recommend doing that as it will impact the outside diameter as well as the inside diameter of the centering rings. I recommend taking your time and taking a little off at a time until they fit perfectly. Also, DON'T forget you will need extended bolts for these wheels. The factory bolts do NOT put enough meat into the hub to be safe.
As a side note on the fitment, I have ordered a set of 5mm spacers and even longer bolts for the back as I feel the front is slightly more aggressive and after I lower the car I want all 4 corners to be equally situated near the fenders after the camber gets dialed in.
