205/40s are what I was running, it's a good size. A bit of stretch to help with fitment but nothing extreme.

Were you running spacers on your first setup? Is there a particular brand of tire that you'd recommend? I got a good price quote on Yoko S.Drives balanced and mounted, but I'm still shopping around.

Nope, no spacers. I think I went with S.Drives too, they were pretty decent but I don't have any real recommendations.

Planning on a bbk also at some stage so edging towards the lower Et numbers for clearance

Existing rubber from my R 53
Have some yokohama ad08r in 215/45/17
And winter 225/45/17 (from Audi TT so wide) to throw in the mix

I"ve been wondering just how the 225's would work. I have 205 x 50 x 17's and they just fit. Look really mean on my roadster. Next year will be a factory JCW hatch, so wondering if there is more wheel clearance with the F series.

The wheel specs are fine but i'm betting the 225 will rub slightly on the plastic flares

I just got an email back from BC, they're going to work on a camber plate system for the F56

Like separate camber plates? Or coilovers with built in

Separate. I asked for a price range and they said $195 for the pair.

Any chance these could work with the adjustable OEM dampers

If so I'm in

I have no idea. I don't even know how the adjustable OEM dampers work actually. If the top mounts of the struts are the same as the non-adjustable version then I'd imagine it would work. The BC coils use the OEM top mounts on the F56 coilovers but I suspect it will be replaced with the camber plates.

You'd have to email them.

Hi guys. I have the OEM 16" black rims on my 2015 2 Door Hardtop.

I want to know what the best size tire to go with is on these rims without risking rubbing or compromising the drive or odometer accuracy.

Would 215/50/16 be ok? I currently have the 195/55/16 run flats.

I want to just give the car a wider sportier stance with better grip than runflats without altering the suspension.

So at one point I managed to bend the metal under the front arch while trying to get out of a really crappy driveway and decided to fold it under instead of bending it back into it's original position, and now I've noticed that the arch doesn't sit quite right at that spot anymore.

What that leads me to believe is that we could instead pull the metal away from the wheels even further and end up with an easy way to "pull" the fenders. They're not nearly as rigid as the R56 were, I think they would easily adapt to the metal underneath being pulled. I'm going to test it out next weekend to see.

I haven't checked to see if it would work the same for the rear but I'll take a look while I'm working on the fronts.

can you snap a couple pics of the process? I may need to go this route when it comes time to go low.

Yeah for sure. It might not have any effect, there isn't that much metal that could be bent. It's worth a shot though.

Stock tires for now 205-45 . Only rubbing is on rear under hard cornering but I haven't done anything to fenders. I want to drop it another 1" but don't know if I want to risk fender damage. Just came back from a trip to California and there roads suck.

Don't come to the northeast, then.

Car looks great, though!

If I wanted to run 17x7.5, ET32 on stock suspension, would I need spacers or would I be able to just bolt up? I'm still not super familiar with how to determine what will fit.

you will definitely not need spacers. If anything you may get a little tire rub on the fenders depending on the tire size.
