I'd probably go with 205/45. I love my current wheels (16" Black Cosmos) but I'm trying to think of small things I can do to make it more 'my' car. I've come to MINI from a Subaru BRZ, which I had done a significant amount of cosmetic modifications to.

Yeah, will fit fine without spacers. Shouldn't rub anything either.

Awesome, thanks!

I'm looking at picking up a set of TSW Nurburgring replicas and wanted to make sure they'd fit:

I saw this car today on the mini mania site. NM wheels 18x7.5 with a 45 offset.
IMO it has a great look.

Good stuff...but when I say they will fit, I do mean with a rather aggressive stance. They will be right out to the edge of the top of the fenders at their widest point. they may even poke past that just a hair.

We have the NM Engineering Wheels right here for the F56 , they look really nice and are light weight for the size.

How bad would this be? I want super wide tires without looking super dumb.

This was an 8" wide et 32 wheel. Yours would poke an additional 7mm out from that.

yeah, 8" with et25 is gonna be poking out a bit TOO much. especially up front! and with 235 tires? No way.

unless you're willing to do some custom widebody work... lol

It's not really possible with MINIs. We might be able to gain a little bit of clearance by pulling the metal tabs underneath the plastic arches (sorry, haven't tried it yet) but that would about it aside from getting widened arches.

I know Duell was developing some but I haven't heard any more about them. I doubt they're for sale yet.

Are you dead set on those specs? Because you can easily fit an 17x8 wheel on the car, just not at that offset. Try around 38-40. What I'm running now is effectively a 17x8 et 38 and it pokes just a bit in the front. With a little camber it will be perfect.

edit: But with super meaty tires you might be better off shooting for et 45 to stay within the arches.

Not really sure yet. My goal is to get the widest tires on the mini without the tires sticking out very much.

just curious and no judgement but why are you looking to run such wide tires?

Are you looking for just a wide tire number, or are you looking for ultimate grip?

You might be in the right position to answer this: Do the NM wheels clear the JCW brakes?

Have not tested the NM wheels with the New F56 JCW yet.

But we have a list of the factory wheel for the F56 fitment: But some say not for jcw 17" sport brakes.

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partgrp.d...id=57045&hg=36

most 17x7 and 18x7 ET54 what it looks like.

But seen some styles that fit

If we find out more info on the new F56 JCW brakes will will post it here.

The JCW Brakes are massivE.

My 18x8 ET45 Speedlines barley clear them.

However, I know a guy who also runs 18x8 ET45 with the JCW brakes, but his spoke design is different and he needed 8mm spacers to clear the JCW's!

My Speedlines were obviously designed with BBK's in mind, unlike his rims.

The only way the MINI wheels clear the brakes is the unfortunate design with the spokes bending out ridiculously - it looks very odd in person!

I'm looking for grip! Grip is my main priority but damn, those wide tires look nice too.

You don't need very wide tires for grip on this car. I went one size wider and a whole lot stickier and i can barely force it to lose grip. The make/model of the the tire is more important than the width. Unless you turn it into a drag car...then you could put skinnies out back and fat drag radials up front

Just snapped this if you want a better idea of a 215/45 on an 8" wheel.
