Rota Group Buy? Please?
Rota Group Buy? Please?
I've looked into some new wheels for my 06 S...
Was eying these up...
http://rotawheels.com/svn.php In hyperblack 17x7.5 +45 4x100.
According to SubyDude, they're not available in the states.. however, he CAN get them if we put in an order for 3... they have to be the same size/color. The price would be 650 shipped for a set of 4.
I'm usually trying to not have the same stuff as anyone else so... nobody who lives close to me can get in on this... LOL
j/k
Let me know. I'm ready to order now, so the sooner the better!
Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions.

I just got a response back from Zoeb over at Subydude... they can be ordered in any color (all three sets need to be the same). I need them to be in satin black.. so the group buy will be for satin-black wheels... not the hyper-black.
Thanks!

..what size tires you putting on?....i'm in a quandry....it looks to me like you have to go to a 235/40 in order to get the same rolling radius as the stock 205/45 , 'cause the only tire available in 225/40 is a Hoosier slick.....will a 235 fit on 7.5" wide wheel?.....i think what we really need is a ET43 , 17 x 8.....and, so far the only boys who can supply that are the 3-piece types ($$$)
I hadn't made a choice on tires yet... runinng 235's on a 7.5 shouldn't be an issue at all... 235/40's would probably be the tire of choice...
I was running 18x7 +42 Ultraleggera's with 215/40-18's... had to run a bit of neg. camber in the rear so it didn't rub (and a little trimming)... Running a 7.5 +45 should be okay, only 3mm out more than my 18's.

Yeah... I was asking the people at subydude for a set of SVN in 17x8 in +45 offset but they just told me they weren't available in 4 x 100. I was looking to get them on the following colors prefered first: Full Royal Sports Bronze, Hyper Black, and Time Attack.

Zoeb says ~18lbs.
I've heard of some people scoff at Rota wheels because they're inexpensive, but I've worked with a few sets, and for the money, they're a bargain. They run true, the finish is good, and they usually have great looking designs (some are knock-offs...). They're not going to be as strong as say a forged Volk or SSR, but they also don't cost as much either..hehe.

I just spoke with Zoeb.. he's good to go if we just order 2 sets...
one in flat black for me
one in royal sports bronze for you...
oh, they'll be 17x7.5
I have to wait a few days here, but let me know if you're in
