Foxwell Scanners (also sold under Schwaben name)

For those mechanics out there that are looking for excellent pricing on Foxwell's latest line of automotive diagnostic scanners, feel free to contact Elly directly for pricing and availability, elly@foxwelltech.com

I've been a beta tester for Foxwell for about 5 months, and I'm expecting the new NT644 Pro and NT520 Pro soon; once I get the Youtube channel set up (unboxing, registration, and use), I'll post a link here.

Foxwell is a growing company and are looking to expand into the North American market. They are very receptive to product suggestions, so if you currently own a Foxwell scanner, you can use the same email address to submit suggestions. Some of the suggestions I've made from beta testing the GT80 mini have already been incorporated into the 2019 models.

Cheers!

Mark

Nice! I have the current version of the Schwaben, I think it’s the 510. What kind of new features will the 520 have that the 510 doesn’t? And also do you know if they will make a software upgrade available for those that already own them?

I don't own an NT510, but I'll find out for you. What software upgrade are you referring to ... the scanner's operating system or the software for your specific vehicle? With my GT80 mini, updating both is easy as it connects via WIFI to the internet. Once connected, you select the update icon and then select the appropriate updates. Look for an update icon in the menu of your 510.

I meant more like an update to bring the 510 to the level of the new 520. Like instead of buying a new one, if I can update the I already bought to be on par with the new version.

Thanks! I appreciate that. I was just wondering if you happened to know already, but it seems that you have an “in” with them, lol

There is an NT520 pro being sold already, doesn't get good reviews. Are you sure of your model number info?

Received word from Elly that the 510 is not up-gradable. The new 520Pro has a slight appearance change, expanded capability to include Mercedes Benz, Renault, and Isuzu, and it can undated via a USB connection.

Ok thanks! So based on that, I don’t see a reason to upgrade to the newer version. I don’t have a Benz, lol. And I think my 510 has a usb for updates as well. It does, I updated it when I received it.
