I just wanted to let you all know that I am moving to Houston in June. I have taken a 180 degree turn from graphic design to becoming a BMW/MINI technician. I will be attending UTI in Houston for approximately the next 2 years. I am really excited about this venture. I have contacted some folks of the Houston MINI Motoring Society (HMMS) and they have been a great help so far. I know that it is still early, but time flies. It's been reat getting to know and meeting you all and who knows maybe I'll end up back in St. Louis. Only time will tell. I haven't been able to see you all with everything on thursday night. But hopefully soon I'll talk to Lois about possibly another event out my way . Well that's it for now. I'll keep you all updated.

WOW. Didn't see that coming. Well, good luck! it was great meeting you at the wine run, and then again at MTTS. I hope you make it back to St. Louis, if not perm, but just to visit us crazy people. Remember where it all started!

June, like 9 months from now?

I've lived in and around the Houston area for most of my life. The city is getting too large, but there is always something to do and plenty of places to go.

I am leaving this coming June. I didn't expect to go this route but all the pieces fell into place and I think it's the right fit. Chappy-- Any suggestions are always helpful!!

UTI is located in the north-west part of town, just south of the "1960 area". There should be plenty of places off 1960 to live. We're in the Clear Lake area which is in the south-east part of Houston.

I'll even do a little "recon" for you if need be cause I'm always looking for a reason to get out of the house (too many "honey-doos").
