Just wanted to let my fellow club members know that "Maxine" will be making her debut this Wednesday evening - so watch out St Louis She evidently came in today, so if my anthracite wheels come in tomorrow she will be ready to roll on Wednesday at 4pm.

We also have another delivery announcement to make - Steve and I are proud parents of a 9.2 lb, 7 week old, black and white English Springer Spaniel who we have named Cooper. So now we can say we're a two Cooper family
I think he is just a standard Cooper as I cannot find any "S" markings on him - believe me I have looked

Can't wait to show Maxine and Cooper off

Way to go, Linda. I'm happy for you and Steve on both counts, Maxine and Cooper. Of course you'll bring pictures of Cooper on the 15th? Nothing more satisfying than a good dog and a great car.

Steve & I are really proud of our little Cooper. Unfortunately we will not be able to make it on the 15th - it is almost impossible for Steve to get off work at a decent hour during this holiday season and I don't really think I want to go by myself. I am sure we'll see eachother again soon and you can be sure we will have pictures to show off. In fact Cooper had his picture taken with Santa this evening - he tried to pull his beard off !

Congratulations times two!! :smile: It sounds like Santa came a little early for you guys this year. Sweet I can't wait to meet Maxine AND Cooper, have you been taking them motoring? You have to get them both used to the twisties and turns, so they won't be surprised on the next Rallye.

Just got back from picking up Maxine and she is all snug as a bug in her new home. We left the dealership right at 5:30pm and what a night-mare I think my blood pressure went up a few notches and I acquired a few gray hairs - The traffic was horrific I just knew someone was either going plow into or over me, then after we crossed the river I was on the lookout for deer who for some reason or another decided they wanted on the other side of the highway . Anyway we're safe and sound and what a blast she is to drive I can really tell the difference between the 05 S and my 03 S. The coupe was a fun car, but I can tell already this one is much better
I can't wait to be able to take her out on her first rallye
