Well first let me tell you a little about myself. I born and raised in a little town west of Niagara Falls Canada called Chippawa the home town of James (Jim) Cameron which I grew up with you know the Movie guy (Titanic). I have played hockey all my life as a goalie so that will explain a lot about me I have a Belgium Shepard named Charlie you will see him in a lot of my pictures. I own a 2002 Mini Cooper which I just picked up in June and spent some time getting it back on the road as it had been sitting for 2 years because the previous owner didn't want to put any money into it such as the PS pump. Here in Kitchener it was around $1800 to do. I did it my self for around $400 being an X automotive mechanic. Here are a couple of pics from towing it home till now. If you look in the detailing section you will see what I have done to the dash. I picked this up for $1600 and got it on the road for a total of having $2500. all said and done so not bad a 2002 mini for $2500 oh ya and I put a stainless dual tip exhaust system cat back on it for a song

It's been good chatting with you over in the detailing section. Didn't realize you were new to NAM so let me be the first to say welcome! Very cool getting to know the back story of your MINI. Looking forward to watching you transform it even more! And if you do need any help with your fixes/repairs, please don't hesitate to ask.
