The one I saw had black hair.

 

saw a nice blue r53 this morning with what i believe to be a black front bumper. it was around 6:45AM and he was on Barranca Pkwy while i was on Sand Canyon. thanks for the wave back

 

It must be a CR day yesterday as 5 out 7 cars I saw were of that color and all of them are from the Irvine area! Driving along 5 South and saw a cabrio, MC, and MCS all CR/W! Saw more along Jeffrey and Alton Pkway.. must be the dominant color there.

 

Spotted a cool blue (i think) cooper convertible behind me at Del Taco on Jefferson in Culver City, last night (Friday around 10pm). I gave the thumbs up as I left with my food.

 

I just got Limo tint on my mini.. So if I dont seem to wave dont be hurt. I am waving like a mother in the car. you just cant see me. =)

I have been snubbed many times by people in the San Diego area lately.. If I see the mini coming twards me I will do a quick headlight flash followed by a wave.

I finally saw a Clubman!
Location: It was in Carnelian, cross street Baseline. It was a PW clubman, I waved but you were busy on you're phone. :( BUT I was excited to finally see one on the streets and it look nice! So Kudos for getting one!

 

Spotted a Blue JCW MCSC with mudflaps and some thingamabob (I couldn't quite identify its purpose) on the passenger side last night at around 8pm on the 60W in Rowland Heights..

 

i'm a slacker: maybe a week ago i saw a brg&w mini w/ a checkered roof pulling out of a 7-11 in san bernardino- he waved @ me! (no- seriously! it was san bernardino and he waved first!) he had a number sticker from this year's AMVIV- it was 069 (*air-guitar*). good times!

I got tagged by an SCMM member as well. EVIE got me at work in La Mirada. I just missed getting to come out and meet you. A coworker said that there was another car just like mine parked by my car, but by the time I got out there you were gone. There is also a LY/B MCSC with the plate 8"heart"CANDY, hope you got them too.

 

So I'm out in the Fullerton area for some meetings and I've been driving around Laguna Beach and the Newport area and I've seen more MINI's than I have back home! It is quite awesome out here I have to say.

By the way I'm not sure if he/she is on here but I spotted "THE BRIT"

 

Why do I imagine "SCMM" and "EVIE" written in blocky black capitals with spray paint on your doors?

Exchanged waves with the driver of a Laser Blue/White R56 MCS this morning on National Blvd near Butler Ave.

Got a waveback from a BRG/W this afternoon on Walker St. in front of Kennedy High School in La Palma.

 

Mrs and I had a nice weekend in Santa Barbara and the wine country just over the hills. Many returned waves (some very enthusiastic from fellow top down motorists!). Found a great but roughly paved mini road called Stagecoach Road off of the 154 that bypasses a construction project on 154. Will need to re-align my car, but it was worth it! Even got a wave from a motorcycle rider on that road!

There was also a brand new pepper white/black mcsc (a sidewalk?) with Crevier paper plates staying at the same B&B we were staying at - a member here? We never did find out who was attached to the Mini....

 

nope... on the contrary, my car has white kosei k-1 racings

 

Finally got a couple waves yesterday... A gray MCS on Colima Ave. in Rowland Hts, and a Chili Red MCS on Nogales in West Covina... Woohoo!

 

I'm still waving and honking at all the Mini's I see -- no responses Do you think they can't see me with my tinted windows (I only have 35%). I feel left out

 

I got tagged by SCMM Member "Evie" at Cars and Coffee event in Irvine last Saturday. I also saw like a bunch of MCS and old Minis that day!

 

That was probably due to a little event called Mini Meet west that occurred over the weekend.

Just noticed you're in Artesia. I'll keep an eye out for you since I live in Norwalk. (mine is an IB/B Cooper)
