Someone with a bizarro version of my car parked in the front/right of mine today at the District in Tustin. Both dark silver w/JCW kits, even the first 4 digits of our license plates were the same. Mine has white roof/mirrors, that one had DS, stripes to no stripes, chrome to blacked out, stock grille to some mesh one, no front plate to drilled front plate.
Saw a nice MCS 05-06 HB/W with white S-Lites and White Bonnet Stripes, looked like it was lowered, exhaust, black/red joey mod, no sunroof, front plate was attached onto the lower grill in front, no tint and a Out Motoring stubby antenna, car was at Sports Charlet in Rancho Cucamonga

Last night around 10pm i was heading home on the 15 north up in Victorville. I saw a young kid in an astro-black motard catch up to me, then cross over 3 lanes of traffic, cutting off several rigs to take an exit... Only to watch him lose control and spin out in to the guard rail on the Bear valley exit.. What a tard!

After many moons of being utterly snubbed by every single MINI/Mini I've seen lately :( , was in Santa Monica, pulled up past a LY R53 -- guy pulls closer, rolls down his window and yells "I want to join!!!!" I have a So Cal MINI Maniacs decal on my back window. Gave him the club website addy and grinned all the way home.

Oh, right. I am in the Calabasas area and rarely get a wave back from other Minis :( My buddy in his STI gets all sorts of wave backs from other STI owners, whats with Calabasas MINI people being "above the wave" Just sad.

Heck, I can't even get a wave from MINI owners anymore even if I wave first from my '73 Innocenti, much less my '04 MCS. The magic is gone, we enthusiasts have been overwhelmed by the masses who know nothing about their car's uniqueness and history.
(Or maybe waving back at an old geezer in a funny little car that needs a paint job strikes them as unwise?) :-)

Saw a nice looking MCS in Escondido the other day. If I remember it was black.. But I do know he had that cool "U" shaped stripe on the front. I flashed my headlights. Didn't know if he noticed. I was in the IB/W MCS with the black windows. I almost made a U turn to go try to see if he had the stripe installed around here.

Saw a BRG/W MCS in Riverside with a plate that I thought at first was the same one you saw....had to log on and see that it was just close to the same: AC2UALSZ oh, I did get a wave from the driver too!

Mean MINI
In Corona this afternoon: A Dark Silver S northbound on Via Pacifica near the Stater Brothers shopping center. It sounded pretty mean.

I actually saw you driving a couple months ago on Kreamer turning onto Morse. I was in my moms car though.

Yeah my GF lives down on Falmouth and manchester. I'm a recent grad from LMU so i'm down there every weekend visiting friends.
