I saw a custom powder pink cabrio with blue boot stripes, going south on the 405 today at about 7:15pm. I waved but I don’t think the owner saw me – she was going faster than me! I’ve only had my MC for four days, was trying to baby her on her first commute.

Also saw a mellow yellow with Oregon plates going north on the 405 around 10am, and a bright orange one going south on the 405 in the carpool lane.

Btw, I’m the PS/B with bonnet stripes and Long Beach temp plates.

 

saw grey(?) MC on pico blvd. right next to SMC main campus.
He waved but I saw him late and couldn't wave back.
I hope he wasn't disappointed... i'll wave next time!

 

saw a nice PW/PW r53 on lilac turning left onto harbor in santa ana today. ive seen the car before. got a wave from the driver

 

Lightning Blue/Silver Clubman going south on Sawtelle.. this was on Sawtelle and Washington Place in Culver City.

 

6:00 am this morning - LY/B MCS - personalized tags "BEE2FST" heading south on the 5 - at the 52 East Exit area of San Diego ....I was in the Morris Minor Traveller - Hiya!!!

Spotted a CR/W R56 MCS "CHLIKRT" on Westwood Blvd this afternoon. Car was super shiny.

Oh and another spotting (not a MINI).. I saw my first 1 series in Westwood near Rite Aid. It was silver and had a tow hook front plate holder.

 

Got a wave from a nice blacked out R56 MCS on Dumetz and Topanga Canyon.

 

It's been awhile since I've been on this forum. I see so many MINIs in my neighborhood now (Irvine - Woodbury Community) - it's crazy! I spotted my first Clubman at the Irvine Spectrum parking garage - two of them in different places.

 

PS/B westbound on 91 in Anaheim this afternoon.
Driver had "mohawk-style" hair, really stood out.
I was eastbound and waved but we were going too fast in opposite directions.

 

Spotted a PW Clubman in Robinson Ranch Friday afternoon parked just 5 houses from mine!

 

As we speak - parked in the San Diego Convention Center - lower level - CR/W MC - tag reads "CRO COOP" - checkered mirror caps - I left a note on your windshield - Hiya if you are here on NAM...

Got a wave today finally.

Rio red on red MCS driving past harbor blvd on 405 with what looked like an m7 grill, hood scoop, and JCW exhaust. Nice ride .

 

Saw a black '04 MCS with clear tail lights and white wheels today on 405 S past Culver. Wanted to wave but he was 2 lanes to my left and we were both concentrating on driving. I guess a wave here can work

 

Saw a brand new chili red MCS with black bonnet stripes around 6. Followed me down Overland for a bit before he got on the 10.

 

Saw a bunch of MINI's up there around Overland and the 10 fwy yesterday, I was up working at 2000 Avenue Of The Stars, even a bunch of MINI's in the parking structure.

Today around 4:15p followed an R53 MCS DS/B with tinted windows, from the 91 around Harbor all the way to the 5 off at Auto Center, to Western, to Artesia to firestone blvd. I lost them when I had to turn into the parking lot at work. Gave them a flash before I turned, they were probably thinking I was following them, honestly I was just going the same way back to work.

I got a nod from a BRG MINI with driving lights and a roof rack today in LA

 

gave a thumbs up to a black/black with silver middle stripe MCS on the 405 N just a little past sand canyon today. received a thumbs up back

 

Got my first wave *and* a thumbs up from a CR MC with a big aftermarket spoiler, on the 405 this morning. License plate was IMDMAN1 I think. At one point, he was behind me, and a guy in a SS MCS was in front of me -- I'm sure everyone on the 405 thought we were out motoring together. The CR pulled alongside me, waved with his whole arm out the window, and gave me a big thumbs up. I was laughing and waving like a fool too, of course, but I don't think the SS in front of me noticed at all.

So IMDMAN, if you're here on NAM, thank you for my first wave! Totally made my day.

saw a nice blue with black top and black rims r53 last night last night at the RUSH concert at the Nokia

 

I was in the Denny's on Alvarado Rd in La Mesa this afternoon & I think I saw the same one.... If it's the same one, they're both batgirlwildcat. Hi!!!

 

saw a nice blue S parked at the firestone on laurel and victory in NoHo. was in a rush to the bank otherwise i would have pulled in. nice MINI.

have seen many others in the past couple weeks. NO RETURNED WAVES THOUGH.

 

I have seen the same R53 Blue/W in my neighborhood, near work by a Yamaha dealer, and on the local roads. Has a distinctive GP-like decal on the scoop, and "Actual Size" and Alta decals on the rear windshield.

Chili Red/W parks next to me at Pasadena Art Center's Hillside Campus lot. Had "DSC Off" grille badge so it must be someone on here. I left SCMM card.

I had already parked in front of a Mellow Yellow but didn't get chance to leave card. An EB/W also parked in lot, whom I did leave card on.
