i've seen about 8 MINI's this week on oxnard in north hollywood. waved at them all and not one waved back.

I did get a wave back from a CR cabrio today at LaPaz and Avila in Laguna Niguel - first wave back in a while....

 

Hello to the Hot Chocolate Clubman that parks in one of the Weyburn parking garages at UCLA.

 

OOoo ... I haven't seen a Clubman at UCLA (or anywhere at all!) yet!

 

Oooh! Dave and I saw that one yesterday afternoon. It was making a right onto Weyburn from Broxton. Okay well technically Dave saw it.. I barely caught a glimpse of its rear end because I was so focused on consuming my ice cream sandwich from Diddy Riese.

 

My friend who lives in Weyburn said that one day there was an MCS(?) parked in that spot, and then the next thing he knew... a Clubman had replaced it.

It'd be nice to know if the owner was on NAM. Sounds like a MINI aficionado.

 

I haven't gotten a wave from another MINI in a while... Just a lot of people in other vehicles, usually passengers, looking but pretending not to. I smile and wave. Most look away, a few smile back.

But... a guy in the 7-11 parking lot this morning stood next to me while I was backing out... he was smiling and waving and thumbs-up-ing. I think he liked it!

Yep. Pretty cool! I had one of my students bring it to me that day. Those kids love the car, and hope one day to be allowed to drive it. HA!

 

I saw 3 Mini's in the Ralph's parking lot in Granada Hills @ Zelzah &
Chatsworth - waved at one yellow/white leaving & we stopped to talk about the glories of owning a MCS. In the same parking lot, met a guy who had a MC cabriolet 2002 -- stoppped to chat with him too. Everyone is happy & joyous. I always wave & honk -- I'm BRG, black top MCS, redwood, all options except satellite radio. Hot stuff!! I work at CSUN so if you see guys hanging around my Cricket looking at her skirts that's her!

 

I now see so many mini's .. i cant remember them all..

except I did see a PW/Blk/Blk clubman today at the Farmer's Market on Fairfax..

I blew my horn and waved.. they waved back!!!

I was pulling into my little housing development when I saw another MCSC heading out. He flipped a U turn, and pulled up to our driveway. Introduced himself and told me that he kept meaning to knock on our door and ask me how I like my MINI, but kept forgetting to ask, so he just went and bought one! Now there are 4 MINIs in our little development! I forgot to tell the new guy about NAM - I'll have to leave a note on his windshield....

 

I see atleast 4-6 minis going up Fairfax every night when i head down it to jump on to the 10

 

pepper white S on kester in van nuys today. was turning and couldn't free my hands but, gave the gentleman the "what's up" head lift! he was looking right at me and my R50 but, since i was in the middle of the turn i could not see if he responded or not. i was in the indi blue if you're around the forum! next time i see you i'll wave... if i'm not turning again that is .

 

Red R56 with black stripes heading north on the 101. I tapped my brake lights, he pulled up alongside to play. He put some car lengths on me cause I was too lazy to downshift to 4th ...and also probably since R56>R53 :(

He took the exit for the 405 and I kept heading to Tarzana right as I got back behind him. Quick Mini even with a passenger.

Spotted an Astro black MC on the 10 freeway today arround 545pm. That was some good driving ;-). We were in the prius, I was unfortunately not motoring in the MINI.

 

Spotted Wednesday evening on Pico near Barrington: DS/PS Clubman S

 

Wednesday left me a little down. Drove from South OC to Santa Monica and back, saw at least a dozen Minis, not a single wave back, even from the ones parked right next to me on the 405.

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted....

 

Well, this was actually Signal Hill.
Someone dropped off their BRG/W at EF-1 while mine was getting oil and spark plugs changed this morning.
(I was having breakfast when they came by.)

Got a wave back from an LB/W this morning on Pershing, on the west side of LAX.

 

Solid Gold MC, female driver..around 3pm today on the 405S by Redondo Beach blvd.
