PS/B JCW on the 118 heading West... you took off, I didn't feel like playing

 

I saw an IB/B MC parked near the Quizno's/Starbucks in El Cajon around 11:15. I waited around for a few minutes to meet you, but had to head for the Thunderboat races with a much needed lunch. I was the PS/PS MC parked next to you.

On the way back from the races saw a DS/B MCS eastbound I-8 from the 805. I flashed when you changed lanes and honked around the Fletcher Parkway exit.

Howdy! New to MINI and here, just chiming in with a wave. I commute along Wilshire in my '05 HBS. Quite often I see a black/WR Cooper headed the same way, all the way through Beverly Hills and into Westwood (maybe you're a UCLA student?).

I'm 5 for 5 so far on MINI drivers who've passed me going the other way and took the time to wave and mouth 'Hi!' Talk about a sense of family...

Saw a MCS40 edition (I think!) on Wed. a.m. on the sb 5 fwy, just before the 5/805 split, thanks for the wave! I wonder if you're the same person I saw at the Leucadia/El Camino Real intersection a few days ago?

And last night we saw a PW/B MCS parked in front of El Callejon in Encinitas. PIGMINI on plates! Were you there to listen to Tres Sappos too?

Saw a DS/B convertible in Palos Verdes a couple of mornings this week about 7:20am...no license plates yet. Palos Verdes Drive East.

 

Last night: CR/W MCS northbound on 605 bewteen 60 & 210.

This afternoon: BRG/W MCS westbound on 17th Street before Brookhurst in Westminster.

 

Saw atleast 5 MINI's tonight on the 405 N near 10 and on the 10E near 110. Anyone know a MINIACC ??? You merged to the 110 and I continued on 10E.

 

I saw a new Dark Silver convertible S on Ortega Highway today. Sweet car!!!

 

Hey this is to the cute asian girls I talked to in the PW MC with aero kit driving on Main Street in Alhambra tonight! Nice ride!!!

Also to the 2 guys in the BRG MCS today (white side stripe)--driving East on the 10 near the 110 interchange with the Nick Alexander badge (no plate)--what's up with your bumper??? No plates yet, but your bumper looked pretty beat up?

IB/W MCS, still with the Brecht paper plates on it. East-bound on HWY 52, travelling at or near the speed of sound. 10/01/04 circa 7pm.

An East County bound IB/W MCS on the 52, travelling at a high rate of speed, and it wasn't me... Who'd of thunk it?

 

Somebody is running around Del Mar with a new Black Cabrio - my Dad has spotted you twice......Yoo Hoo......anybody in here???

Thought it was you at first Then I saw the paper plate from Brecht and tried to catch up with whoever it was when he/she took off and my wife said, "Do you have to catch up?" (you know what that means )

Wanted to see if they lived in East County and wanted to join us on some of the back roads .

Saw 3 today - all this afternoon around 3:00 ish........PS (I think) in Encinitas parked in that neat little shopping center off the 101. Just down the block, parked on the 101, a Silk Green.....and a Black one at Dog Beach in Del Mar - we honked and waved as you got into the MINI - got a wave back.... Anybody here?

Saw a Red Cooper at Kaiserhof Restaurant in San Diego tonight, Grinnell Alumni lic. plate frame. Not in the MINI tonight, hauling the parents around, or I'd have left you an SCMM card.

LY/W S on Pac Coast Hwy/Harbor Drive circa lunchtime. S WORKS??? plate.

 

whoa, what is up with this?! i live in temple city/rosemead and drive in alhambra all the time and have not seen these hot girls in the PW MC

o and by the way i drive a PW MCS as well

 

The silk green was still there at 4:30 when we picked up a bike across the street at Nytro. Shhh, don't let our dogs know you were at dog beach.

 

I was wondering if there were any mini owners in the Lomita/Torrance area on this forum? I have been seeing more and more... usually on Hawthorne Blvd. near Del Amo Mall. I know I'll see more in the future, since a new Mini dealership is being built on the corner of 190th and Hawthorne. :smile:

 

I'm a new MCS owner in the area. I drive a CR/B north on Hawthorne most mornings about 7:40am.

 

Going N on the 5 this morning about 6:45 around the Mission Bay Hilton area a LY/W, also saw parked in the SD Convention Center today - a PW/B. And a CR/R going East on the 76 in Oceanside about 6:00pm.....anybody?

Two friendly Coopers this mornin', it's nice to own a MINI!

 

I saw a classic Mini yesterday evening, around 6:15, heading south on 805 out of Sorrento Valley. Right-hand drive, black with white roof. First time I've seen a Mini while driving my MINI!

 

This evening in Garden Grove I saw a lady driving a very nice blue Cooper with boot stripes and a personal plate that says, "MINI RCR" The license plate frame says, "Batteries Not Included" which I thought was pretty clever. I was on my way to school to take my mid-terms so it cheered me up.

 

Saw a cr/b S turning into the Edwards Cinema/Hooley's parking lot a bit before 5 pm. Would have "honked", but was too far away.

 

Saw a Black MCS heading north on PCH around 745pm between Newland and Beach Blvd heading up towards Huntington Beach/Main Street. I waved from my PS/S MCS but was on my way to work, otherwise I would've given chase.

I also see a Blue MCS w/ white stripes in the Villa Balboa/Versailles condo complex off of Newport and Superior on a fairly regular basis. There is another PW/B MCS in my building there. A BRG MC parks at the Hoag Cancer center on a near daily basis.
