July 19 Barber Motorsports Park + 250 miles (GS only)

Aug. 10 Iowa Speedway 2 ½ hours

Aug. 16-17 Trois Rivieres * 2 ½ hours

Sept. 21 Miller Motorsports Park 250 miles

Oct. 4-5 Virginia International Raceway * 6 hours

I might be able to make 7 or 8 races this year!!

 

Too bad they dropped Laguna . . .

Also, they scheduled two races back to back . . . TWICE.

Mosport & Mid Ohio
Iowa & Trois Rivieres

Iowa is a combined GS/ST race on the small 1.3 mile road course. That ought to be interesting . . . 70+ cars, three wide in the banked turns, 40+mph closing speeds GS to ST . . . I predict a lot of carnage.

I suspect there will be some NO-SHOWS the following week at Trois Rivieres because there will be no time for repairs.

Oh well . . . it is what it is and we will deal with it. June will be a busy month!
