Track Day at Pueblo Motorsports Park

MINI5280 member Brad Mott has done it again. Plan now for this month's Track Day at Pueblo Motorsports Park.

- Friday, March 25th (Easter weekend)
- 9 am to 3 pm
- $60 at the door, sign a waiver
- SNELL helmet required
- Leave from Denver at 7:00 or so, caravan down.
- Gas and breakfast there, 100 octane available here...

Please go to the MINI5280 calendar right here in NAM (see the left margin, click calendar, scroll down and JUMP to the MINI5280 calendar) to sign up. Just indicate there if you can attend.

Thanks Brad, this will be our 3rd session in a year and a good deal of fun. Start the Holiday right!!!

Are guests allowed?

How about people who might just want to watch but not drive ... are they allowed entry into the park without paying $60.00?

I assume that passengers are OK if they have a helmet.

I will probably be there and there is one other .. a Miata person who wants to take a few laps around the track.

Dan, guests are welcome

The fee is $60 per car, not per person. Bring as many as you can stuff in the vehicle.

Miata's are always welcome. Perhaps Eva will be there to smoke someone in her clown car, too. Not me, tho. No matter what she thinks.

Come one, come all. Please go to the MINI5280 calendar in NAM to sign up.

To find our events calendar, click on the word Calendar on the left, then scroll down and jump to the MINI5280 calendar. Go to March 05 and click the event. Sign in there.

Thanks, we will have fun.

JPS -let us know if you want to meet up with us on the way down.

Oh, and dress warm.

There is shelter from the wind, but it is outdoors.

Passengers DO need helmets, too.

Where to meet?

I too have a friend who would like to take a few laps in a non-Mini. Would this be okay?

When and where is everyone meeting to drive down?

Chris, bring whatever vehicles you like

Except that they don't do Minivans and PU trucks, as far as I know.

Keep in mind that the $60 fee applies per vehicle so they will need to pay at the gate.

Any driver / passenger will need to sign a waiver and have a Snell approved helmet.

Other than that, no other rules.

Let me know if you want to meet us at 7 am for the 100 oct gas on S Santa Fe. We will go down as a group.

Thanks - to find directions, go to www.pueblomotorsportspark.com. It is easy to find, just 2 turns off I-25, West of Pueblo but S of Hwy 50.

Big J., the NM folks are interested but not at this time. Hopefully we'll get our mud together and make one soon. Keep up the good work.

Track Day In Pueblo Just Cancelled

Member Brad Morton in Colo Springs just called. He lives west of town, where there is snow. However, while there is NO snow on the ground in town, it is 30 degrees, very overcast, and slick.

For safety reasons, we will NOT hold this session.

Please look for the NEXT TRACK DAY on Friday, April 8th, at 2nd Creek Raceway near DIA. Details will be posted here, later today.

Thank you all, pls accept my apologies for the weather which frankly, is out of my control.
