Out of 87 cars (37 in ST), here's where they finished.

I'd say its a good start since Daytona is not a track for the MINIs strengths. The quick time for the #20 was in line with the 9th place ST finisher, so the speed is there.

According to the Grandamerican.com website... as of now, no tv is planned for this event. Usually they would be televised about 2 weeks later...

And to use "Accord" again... Dang, I believe this is the first time I've seen an Accord participate... and it won our class!? Wow.

Sunshine MINIs had 14 MINIs at Daytona to cheer on Nuzzo Motorsports. Tony was running well until about 25 laps in when he lost all but 4th gear. Car #22 looked strong all day and was very loud!





After the race we all headed to the garages and got to speak with driver Stephen and then with Tony Nuzzo himself. I gave Tony a Sunshine MINIs grille badge and he posed for photos and signed posters. A very nice guy!
