I once witnessed something like this chasing down a 66 Corvette at LRP under the bridge and thru the last turn. It was quite funny actually...not for the guy driving the Corvette though. I liken this to a frantic bee on the chase

I raced this car for 12 years (this picture was from 1988 at Pocono) - many laps at Lime Rock ! Sorry picture not larger - need to do some scan work on the photo album! See my album for a better picture at Road Atlanta - got it posted now!~
