R56 The Official Nightfire Red Owners Club
What a way to carry the New Year's Baby over the line Roo....mostly, glad you are ok...sad that Father Time is stiff and sore from his fall! These cars seem extremely solid, so hopefully your baby will be up and bounding around in no time!
Skuzz...this year Bubbles and I might be in your neck of the woods. I might be going to Dallas & San Antonio in May, and I plan on driving down, then begin my holidays from San Antonio....coffee? Introduce the cars?
Rooandren, sorry to hear about your car!
Yes, we own both cars. We bought the 07 SS in November. At the time I was on a waiting list for a Smart Fortwo, but after driving his new MINI, I was quickly in love with the Cooper.

Just let me know when!
ROSEY'S STILL NOT HERE...
She was supposed to be to my dealer maybe last Saturday but definitely Monday and apparently the truck driver took a long weekend and took Rosey with him. When I was at the dealer Saturday they said taht when they're released to the carrier from the VDC they lose all control of where the car goes, the trucker can go park in front of his house for the weekend and MINI doesn't care b/c they get invoiced as soon as they're released to the truck. grrrr... hopefully She actually get's in today and they get working on my gas cap so I can still get her this weekend. I won't be able to make it to the dealer until next weekend if they can't have her done by then. At least I'm in some sort of a mini evn if it is a bright yellow one. Talk about all eyes on you. It's like a highlighter going through the parking lot of Wal Mart!
Laughing in sympathy with you Kit...I had to chase my truck for 2 weeks until I finally caught him! I love the concept of the highlighter driving through the parking lot!
Maybe you need to go for a C-Section? Would you like a spinal?

ROSEY'S AT THE DEALER! The truck just pulled in. That truck driver must have stopped at every nudie bar between Greenville and Charleston, that's the only way a 3 hour drive could have taken 5 days. The contractions have really sped up now. It might be time to start pushing soon! I hope there aren't any cops between Myrtle Beach and Charleston when I finally get to go b/c I might just break the sound barrier....
I'll know tomorrow morning if they can get the gas cap installed in time for me to pick her up Saturday afternoon, if they can't I can't make it down to Charleston until the next Saturday, if that's the case... watch out.
Thankfully I've been distracted. I came home from Christmas to a flooded guest room and a burst pipe. Then my heater wasn't working so I've spent the past 2 days getting that all fixed. While I was away for New Year's they just turned my water off. didn't realize my heat didn't work at that point as I hadn't turned it on yet. Needless to say, I've thankfully been pretty distracted. So I am happy to say now that my plumbing is fixed and the heater is going strong and then I got the phone call that at 10:20 tomorrow morning... I'd be able to pick Rosey up! I guess you could say she's out and now they're slapping her on the butt and getting her cleaned up to go home. I need to find a big Nightfire red baby blanket for her now... if only I could heat the garage...
If Bubbles has to endure it, then so does the owner!!
Romi has a carpet to drive onto when she is in the garage. And I have a small space heater for her to keep the garage at around 60F during the winter.

I thought I was treating CARJOY good just by having covered parking! I did have a garage, actually 2, but could never get a car in either one so the covered parking was an upgrade!

:impatient
I thought you were tied up in a basement somewhere???
