I don't know about you Canadians and this slurpee thing! Rum and a slurpee is one thing but tequila!! Down here in the Southwest, you'd be taken out to the barn and shot dead!

Ok, off subject, but does anyone know if you can fit a 7'7" rug in a Mini? I'm laying laminate in my bedroom in the next few weeks and have a rug in mind that I'll need to drive to Atlanta to get, could I even fit it in the car and close the hatch or not even possible....

Do you have the sunroof?

I know that an 8 foot long 2x4 does NOT fit.......so I'd imagine the rug won't?

The closest Ikea to me is in... Canada! I haven't been inside any Ikea yet, personally.

I need a ginormous rug, that would probably be close to $100 to ship. I'll let you know. Maybe I can find it on ebay... I keep thinking maybe if I could fold the rug... I at least have a better chance of getting anything into the mini vs. the old T-Bird. The mini dealers all thought I was insane when I said I needed something bigger when I was looking. And by bigger I mean a backseat. I actually managed to haul all of the carpet and pad to the dump yesterday in Rosey. it was all safely tucked into rubbermaid tubs though to reduce the amount of lint and stray carpet hair but I was amazed! 125 square feet of carpet in a Mini. No way in Hades could I have done that in the T-Bird

You could shop IKEA online. Have you checked to see if they have the rug there?

Been there done that, They have it online but it's not available to buy online. Oh well. I'll just have to make do until I can get to Atlanta, If you're going to Ikea anytime though let me know I may have you check the rug and see if it's foldable...or if it's too thick to fold. I'm thinking if I could get it into quarters it might fit. I'll just make the dog sit on it all the way home to keep it shut.

Or a lot more dogs... yeah 6.5 lbs might not do it. He'd have fun learning how to fly though.

I would say it is highly likely you can fold up the rug, I did it myself! Is it more of a persian style one, or one of those modern prints? It's possible if it's real thick you couldn't fold it over as much as needed. If it's more like a persian, I'd say you're good!

Now back to important topics, aren' the gawdawful frozen margaritas that so many places serve basically slurpees?

Anyone here with a NFR have black or gun metal wheels? If so, please post a pic. I'm trying to make a decision! Thanks.
