Sad times... I was hoping mine would catch up to you Azn!
Interesting that yours was booked back on 2/9/07... Makes me wonder if mine is already booked also! Yet the VIN doesn't pull anything up yet, so it would seem unlikely that it has a stateroom already assigned.
Mine is supposed to get done today. It is, as of now, in a quality control check.
Next stop, the port... Maybe will still catch up to yours, but I doubt it. Seems unlikely it will get trained down today and there by tomorrow.
Have a good cruise!

Greetings fellow motorists!!
So mine is at the port awaiting shipping. When I enter the VIN in the auto cargo tracking nothing comes up either. ASK MINI says it takes about 7-10 days to get across the pond and then other 7-10 days from when it gets Charleston to its destination. So my question is how long does it take from when they say awaiting transport to when the MINIs actually get on the boat?

Mine seems stuck at the port. Finished build on 3/1 and was transported to the port just before the weekend. Nothing comes up when I put in a VIN in the WW site. My last order (MFSW problem) popped up right away after build, but this has gone on 4 days now with no ship assigned. The guy at ask mini said they have waited a week or two when backed up awaiting a ship.
If you look at the thread above it will take as long as 18 days to get across the pond to Charleston.
Nothing to do but wait.

Me too, if its leaving the 6th. Mine has been at the port since the 2nd. Nice of MINI to hurry it up, since I had to reorder (MFSW mess) Might still. I know on my first order the VIN just popped in one day and sailed the next. Not sure how long it was at the port, maybe a couple of days tops. I'm assuming they are backed up. A lot of options didn't become available until 3/07, hence, week 10 production probably pretty hectic.

My first MINI as well as my re-order(MFSW) went into Charleston. Neither one ever came up on the WW site. If you look on the K-Line shipping site you might find one of their ships going from Southampton to Charleston.
glangford-sorry to read about your second steering wheel problem. It really will be worth the wait, but I can only imagine how frustrating it has been. My MINI is finally at the distribution center with a delivery scheduled for this week.

checked the k-line site. The franconia leaves 3/12 and arrives 3/22. That would be cool as that is non-stop charleston service. No stop in baltimore or ny like ww, which is usually a 10 day voyage. That would get me my car maybe still this month or early april. Anyway to check if you are on a k-line vessel?

Search for a thread using the key word tracking, you'll find a thread how to track you mini. Instructions and links all there.

Where do I belong?
Hmm, they started work on my Cooper on Saturday. That's Week 9. The bulk of the work will be done this week, Week 10. And scheduled to be finished Sunday, which stretches into Week 11. Three weeks. Guess it takes longer to produce one of these babies than I imagined.
For those of you whose production is nearing its end, how soon are your cars being scheduled for shipping? The departure schedule from Southampton to Port Hueneme shows one ship departing March 14 and another on the 19. Didn't know whether my car would have a chance of hitching a ride on either of those ships or not.
Interesting that my auto will touch down on American soil for the first time at Port Hueneme, the same place where I was born.
By the way, the sticky for how to track your car is in the first gear forum:

My MINI is making progress! A very nice Rep at ASKMINI told me this morning my baby was scheduled to begin production today, scheduled to complete production 3/19. I'll be calling daily now to get updates. Since mine is destined for Colorado, believe when it ships it goes through the Panama Canal and up to California. By the time it finally gets "home" maybe our snow will be melted.
