Ok, how are you getting booking numbers?

I can't get my VIN to show up on the site, although Ask mini says it's at the port and should be getting ready to be loaded on the next ship. Maybe not a WW vessel?

Anyone know what other shippers besides K-Line service the BMW port in southhampton?

I believe to get a booking number to show up - your vin needs to be recognized.

My VIN has finally appeared on the Trianon list, in waitlist status. Hopefully it makes it onto this vessel. The number of cars booked for this ship is getting close to 500.

Does anyone know (or know how to find out) the length of the voyage from Southampton to Port Heuneme? I need to make arrangements for insurance, selling my Accord, vanity plates, etc.

The Trianon has left today. I looked all over that site today and the next ship going straight to Hueneme is 3/14 and arrives on 4/4.

However I only looked at vessels leaving Southampton. I don't know if they leave from any other port? The east coast has several ships.

You're right, I missed the Trianon. Looks like it'll be the Maersk Wind for me.

The Trianon is stopping in Georgia, Panama, and on to Port Hueneme. Its predicted arrival is March 29.

I'm also booked on the Asian Chorus scheduled to leave Southampton March 13th and arrive NY March 22. The booking number is: GBSOU507148 . The voyage is: EA710-ASC .

If you enter the booking number you'll get a list of all VINS booked so far for that voyage.

I found out today from Ask-MINI that my car started production yesterday! Yahoo. In the lounge it still does not show as having a production date.

So this puts me in Week10. She said it would probably be completed on the 13th. That is a total of 7 days for production.

Sorry, I forgot to post Cap'n Crunch's configuration.

Cheers

For those of you in the same boat as me (no pun intended) whose MINIs go to the West Coast, a very nice Rep at ASKMINI told me today it depends on the size of the transport ship how they get there. Normal size ships that are small enough go through the Panama Canal; however some ships are too large and have to go around the tip of South America. Obviously that lenghens the transit time (don't know by how much). My MINI is due to be completed March 11 or 12, then begins the journey across the pond.

I did that. Looks good. Now I need to find a way to get a list of VINs headed that way.

I am relatively certain I will end up on the Patriot, heading out Friday, getting in to Charleston, SC the 24th.

Given a week at the VDC to put on my Aero Kit and then truck it to Orlando, I'm thinking i'll get it the first week of April. My spring break week. How nice!

They're listing 21 days total. Includes going for a sightseeing trip to the Panama Canal.

Rennie, thanks for the booking number. Still not listed but vin's very similiar to mine loading. Hope they load a bunch more.

If I was 30 years younger I'd be acting my age now.

Well according to ASK MINI my car is already on a boat crossing the pond, but my VIN is not showing up on the WW website. My guess is my mini is on a K-line boat all by himself ride with bunch of snobby BMWs....

But I bet all of those BMWs are hardcore crushing on your Mini right now.

Be careful typing in VINS, I was putting a I or 1 in where it should of been an L. Made a big diference.

My first R56 spotting on the road tonight! It was dark and it flew right past me. It was a Lightning Blue/White. Even though it was zooming by in the dark I could recognize the new circular tail lights.

With my own MINI just weeks away, I see this as a teaser. Anyways, brought a smile to my face.

For those still waiting for a pickup, here's an interesting page:

http://www.southamptonvts.co.uk/shipping_movments.asp

All the vessels in/out, time in/out, destination, type, etc. non-carrier specific
