R56 R56 Week 10 Production Group
Thanks.
I've been staring at this picture for weeks now...

It's not an R56, but its pretty much my spec and I'll be changing out my wheels to match and will eventually add driving lights.
As much as I love this picture, I'd rather be looking at my car.
And to whomever took this picture and this car belongs to, thanks for the inspiration.
dean.

My MA gave me a rang today to confirm that my MINI is going to be at the VPC on 3/15.
Does anybody know how to track the Toledo at this point. I tried http://www.sailwx.info/ but I don't think the Toledo is part of the voluntary observation ship.

Bye everyone... I'll be over in the Week 11 thread, pouting that mine is stuck in the UK another week. This one has kinda died now that everyone's out to sea.
All covered in wax, my Mini won't even get a half-assed tan...

Yeah, I don't even know where my Mini is, according to OL my Mini is still waiting for transport. But ASK MINI told me it's already on a boat making its journey across. My MA told me it won't arrive for another 4-5 weeks. My VIN is not coming up at the WW site.
I have no idea what's going on anymore, I guess my Mini will arrive when it arrives

I'm on the Patriot as well. I sure stayed stuck at Southhampton a while, finishing production around 3/1.
I'm not sure this is good news.
My first order that I turned down do to the MFSW problem was also on the Patriot!!
Bad karma??? Thought I might be on the k-line vessel leaving the 15th and going non stop. Will actually leave the 14th and beat the Patriot to Charleston.
Oh well, at least its on its way over!!!

It got done early. I'm all stressed out that after it getting done early, it didn't ship out early. On time would be next week, on time delivery in mid-April. Anything earlier will be a bonus, should it happen.
Larry will call when it's there. I got a life to lead besides NAM and the WW tracking page until then. My car may well ship out on KLine next week anyway, and then all the time spent on the WW site stressing out over 'is my car on this ship" is wasted, stupidly.
My kid isn't lost... he's away at college. He'll be home when its time.
And he'll be greeted with open arms.
I can relate as my car never made it onto the Toledo. Now it's booked to leave next Wednesday on the Asian Chorus. Does your VIN show up on another ship?
That's what makes it so frustrating. I'm still booked on the Patriot, or still shows up for that ship. No asterisk. If you are booked on a ship it does not mean you will be loaded.
Looking through the bill of lading I feel really sorry for a couple of Mini's that have 'return to sender' as their status. That, I could not handle.

I think it means that they weren't able to fit it on board. Probably was one of the last few to be loaded.
My VIN still doesn't show up with WW, which is why I think it may set sail with another company. Hopefully K-Line, as they go direct from Southampton to SC, and I'll still get it early despite leaving after everyone else's.
And, since only WW gives all this lovely info, I have no reason to really spend much more time on WW's site tracking, as it may be fruitless. And it's 80 degrees and sunny around here... too nice to be watching the comings and goings of the Southampton port!!

Nope. They know nothing once it is handed over to the shipper. From here on in, my MA is the only source of info. Or so they say. My MA says he doesn't know anything either. Meh... they want my money, they'll find the car. I bet it turns up, and in 4 weeks I'll be smilin'. I can wait. I just keep telling myself that.:impatient

The Toledo will dock in Halifax, Nova Scotia on 3/13. I was able to find the live web cam http://www.halifaxwebcam.ca/live/ind...RRENT_CAM=cam1 . Hopefully, we can see a glimpse our ship passing by.
Well, for those headed to Charleston, I feel confident the reason we haven't gotten a VIN to show up on the WW is we will end up on a K-Line vessel, headed directly to Charleston (one gets in 3/25, the next 3/29). One leaves Thursday, then another on Friday. Here's hoping anyway.

The next WW departs 3/16, getting in 3/31. I'm hoping to avoid LIBERTY, and instead go Franconia or, if need be, Golden!
Happy waiting to you all!

Well, I'm a happy camper. After being wait listed for the Toledo leaving port March 6th, I was re-scheduled for the Asian Chorus leaving March 14th. I found out today that my car is on the Patriot that left Southampton last Friday, March 9th. Me happy.
