R56 R56 Week 10 Production Group
Talked to a dude at my dealer, car is on the transport vehicle, but the vehicle is not full yet. Says it may leave for Baltimore tomorrow. If so, he says they will have it prepped for me on Saturday. Another wait and see! Cross your fingers for me.
For Those About to take ownership of their Minis...
I salute you!
And pass on this GREAT checklist to take with you.

Great list. Enjoy! I plan to print it and take it with me, when the time comes in a few weeks.

I just caught the Patriot coming out of Hampton Roads at 5:21am. Hopefully, we can watch it all the way down the coast now.
I saw the Patriot off the coast of NC this morning, but now it has disappeared again.
I've only managed to catch it twice now. Most of the time it does not show up. I've noticed that with a lot of the ships on there.
Been busy at work all day, so I wasn't able to call my MA. I just checked the OL and it says "Estimated Delivery Date: March 24, 2007" That's tomorrow! Does anybody know exactly what this date means?
Car is at Dealer, pick up is tomorrow at 1PM. MA called today, I am estatic. WOO HOO!!! For what it's worth, OL still says I am enroute. Go figure.

Congrats to those who have taken delivery of their MINIs already.
Unfortunately I am not one of them. OL lists my estimated delivery date as today, but after contacting my MA, I've been informed that my MINI arrives this Monday, but I can't take delivery until Wednesday! Something to do with the CO (Certificate of Origin, whatever that is). Which probably means I can't even test drive it on Monday either
. It's like the home stretch... so close, yet so far...
On a good side note, I just sold my car this morning.

Delivered, Test drove, reviewed, bought, tired!! And by the way, the secret compartment works. They gave me floor mats (Front & Back), keychain, and a hat. My MA/dealership was A+++ this last week. I had almost all the financing done before I even went in. Top Notch.

She's here! I picked Edna up yesterday, have already put 200 miles on her, and she's perfect! The checklist posted in this thread was a really great tool to have too!
Here are just a few photos: http://www.zero-film.com/MINI/edna/ I'll post more after I take some photos of her today!

Mine 'discharged' as well. MA says Saturday as well. It has to get to Nashville. Hoping for a quick tour through the VDC.
My Mini has also been "discharged" at Charleston. Haven't heard anything from my MA yet hopfully it will be at the dealer by Saturday also
Can't wait to see my first Mini. The wait....the wait

For those travelling aboard Golden Fan, this update in from K-Line:
"Quick, Courtney (KAM.RIC)" to me, KAM
9:42 am (1 minute ago)
Hello Jeff,
Current ETA into Charleston is 3/29 at 8am. Have a good day."
Nice and early... I like it. Here's hoping it stays true.
I attached a map of Atlantic wave heights and the key. I hope the Golden Fan is past that Red/Yellow spot by now!! (It is supposed to get into Baltimore tomorrow).

Nice to see the Pepper White and redwood, too. I've not actually seen that, but it's what I ordered. Aside from having black stripes and web spoke wheels, our cars our very similar.
Of course, you are driving yours and mine should be going through the Panama Canal today.
Congratulations.
