The best part is I saw on my MA's screen and he confirmed with me there that I had left the VDC on Weds.. The wait hurts.. really hurts.

 

You're lucky though as clearly there is progress with your Mini!!! That's awesome and I'm sooo jealous!

 

My car is at the dealership!!!!

Just got my call.. He tried tricking me with this whole "delayed at port, not till March 1st" .. gave me a heart attack! But he said it was on the grounds.

The only issue.. He is going to MINI training tomorrow and the day after.. So I can't get it until Thursday.. I only trust my MA when it comes to selling my car.. and no one else.. So I'm willing to wait.

Gonna go see my car tonight! =]

 

So it's happening.. All my MINI's shipmates are about to be motoring.. and my MINI still has another boat trip until we are united! =(

 

Congrats on your car arriving! You are a much more patient person than I am, there is no way I could deal with knowing its at the dealership and I couldnt have it! I hope you get it quickly!

Looks like many wk 3 builds will be soon in the loving hands of thier care takers -- No word on mine yet, but I'm very excited that I got to drive an S today and see an S that came very close to my spec. Any apprehension I had is blown away!
The pics of these cars have been very deceiving. I don't know what it is but the new MINi looks "right" from all views where as the photos have fallen short -- and I liked most of the photos. The front looks totaly different in person. I did not see the awkward high stance that seems so pronounced in frontal shots. The wait may become harder now!

Agreed! Looks like everyone getting their Minis now are getting them from the SC VDC (Georgia, several in Texas) - daffodildeb is the only one potentially out of NJ's VDC. It IS torture though. I'm sure they are indeed getting released out of NJ, folks just aren't on NAM fessing up!

 

No, mine came from Charleston, and it's here. I should get it tomorrow afternoon when I have a ride over, assuming it's ready.

Congratulations Guys! Moritz says they are sure that mine is in the area but not yet on the lot. Hoping it will be on the first truck this morning. If so They will get it prepped for an afternoon delivery!

Beautiful car Pez. Mine happens to be the exact same color and I just got the call from my MA that it's finally arrived at the dealer. I'm hoping to pick it up tonight but he couldn't promise it would be ready.

 

I didn't get my car yesterday afterall, but it's a "definite" for this afternoon. Better day anyway--yesterday was gloomy, but today is bright sunshine and 70 degrees--perfect for that sunroof!

 

My MINI was unloaded in SC on 2/10. Estimated delivery was 2/18. The OL now sez my car is at the dealership.

I have several people looking out for my car, but it has not come in yet.

The OL must just estimate the arrival, and not be some accurate feedback of when a car actually arrives.

So, we wait....
