Pricing should be released in the next 7-10 days. The Autosport show is this week in the UK so he has to have the pricing prepared. -Pete

This can be very confusing. I was just talking to my MA and was told that availability of components like auto trans depends upon the model involved. MCS convertibles are given prefernce over all other models. Auto trans for Cooper S won't be available until 3-1-07 but it is available for MCS convertible builds now. You hear so many different things and read so many different posts that I don't really know what to believe. Just passing on what was told to me by my MA today.

Hey Pete - I feel like I've remet an old buddy - so will you be offering Forge diverter valves so we don't having honking plastic diverter valves (like we did with the old 1.8T VeeDub motors? )

I'm looking forward to getting back into a turbo'd car -glad to see that Statmosphere is acquiring a new R56 to test and tune on. We'll need all the odd products (like the stainless steel diverter valve) when the chip tuners turn the heat up!

Can't offer you a pic, but have you going through the customer service line? I had to do that since it wouldn't recognize me or the production number. They had it fixed up in a day or two, but I needed their help.

yeah - been on the phone to them quite a few times. I went cold-turkey on calling earlier in the thread - scroll back.

I'm actually relying on my salesman for the heads up when something happens as the owners lounge seems to lag behind. But in the mean time it is eases my wait to sing the blues.

Just hum the MOL order status theme song. I'm hearing it in my sleep.

Yeah - I'm sharpening my reflexes by seeing how fast I can jump on the "turn sound off" button. I think I shaved a few milliseconds from my record today.

Hey Krut! It's good times. The car FLIES with the new Milltek exhaust. I got a ride around while developing the system when I was in the UK in December. We have tricks up our sleeves already. Talk to you soon. -Pete

Lava - your bone is here..

Hi all, I ordered Nov 24 (day after Thanksgiving). My 07 has been built and awaiting shipment. Should be on the boat Saturday! yippeeeeee I think I got my production number about a week after. They didn't release allocations for 2007 until the first week in December.

Lava - your bone is attached.

John - that may be a factor of your dealer's allocation. Apparently they all wait in line, get a certain number per week, dealers that sell more get more slots.

Thanks kodiak - your a good motorer! (that a word?)

Please realize that the '07 convertibles are not the new R56. The MCC & MCSC for '07 and beyond are still the first gen MINI.
