The Don Juan was supposed to be in Halifax tomorrow, NY on 2Feb - same deal - no way.

But those 30ft waves must have slowed them down.

 

Yep WW site has altered its information..

It was to dock in New York on the 30th and depart 31st to Baltimore.. Now its docking on the 1st of February and leaving the same day.. But my port of Charleston was delayed by 2 days =[

2/6... Hope thats enough time for the VDC to do stuff and get it out to dealerships.. Thats like 10 days if they start transporting 1-2 days before to dealerships.. Cutting it close

Don Juan has been moved back to 1Feb in Halifax, 3Feb in NY. That still seems optimistic to me. From the map it does not look like it will reach Halifax until 2Feb.

 

Pez looks like the Integrity had a near miss on that map.
I think the captain's been drinking the whole way.

 

Don Juan ceased weather reports, but is not showing up on the Halifax Overview yet. I'm blacked out!

update - a few hours later, it shows in the port.

 

Integrity was already out of New York by early this morning.. Kinda suprised! They really unloaded fast..

Onward to Baltimore then Charleston

No clue.. I can't see New York Cars with my number only the cars at my port.. Charleston.

 

Anybody have a fix on the Don Juan - it was gone from Halifax last night, but this morning I can't see it on the AIS live image. The view I get does not let me zoom into the NY port. Anyone seeing something different?

 

lava the ww site says it left Halifax today and it said that after midnight last night, I's due in and out of NY tomorrow.

Stupid ship.. Now they added another day from New York to Baltimore yet it left New York ahead of schedule.. so now my car won't hit Charleston until 2/6.. Somehow I doubt it will be ready in the VDC by the 2/15 release period =[

 

I'm actually surprised at how quickly the time has gone by from manufacture to shipping across the Atlantic. Then again, the past month has been a blur to me so I'm not surprised. I'm looking forward to receiving the car in the upcoming weeks.

 

My MA sent me an email that my car is at the VDC in NJ!!! He indicated that they will not be distributing and untill after the 17th -- but everyone knew that -- He's going to AZ the 14th and 15th for training on the R56.
He was not sure when or how it will be determined which cars he gets first from the VDC.

I believe MA's got a bulletin that VDC is releasing cars on the 15th.

Integrity is in Baltimore and has 2 sets of dates for Baltimore.. 1 the old one where it sits at dock for TWO days.. and then a new one where it sits just for 1.. So it appears that my car should be getting to Charleston on Monday if the new date is right.

 

Finally! Just got my Production Number yesterday, and finalized my specs... after adding 2 more things!!! I must stop, and be patient... According to my calculations, I may be in production week 10 or so.

 

Integrity hit Charleston last night at 1AM.. Began unloading at 8AM..

My car was just discharged early this afternoon.. Welcome to the US Toober! =]

 

My MA emailed me my production number earlier today. Yay! Now it actually feels official. Looking forward to joining the Owner's Lounge for the first time.

 

The next wait is tougher ...waiting for the production date. I got my production number on 1/4, just two days after I ordered the car ...and here it is over 30 days later and I don't have a production date yet.

I was told yesterday that my order was upgraded from "Ordered" to "Order Accepted". Gee, that was nice of them.

yup.. mine says at the VDC today also.

 

Same as of last night... was there at Charleston for over a week before the status changed to VDC.

I've heard through my MA they are released to be shipped to dealers on the 15th.

 

My dealer says they expect the cars on the 17th. I'm not sure how long they will take before mine is ready.

 

What all you getting done? I'm getting the windows tinted, a checkered graphic on the sunroof and JCW mats prior to pickup.

Have you done your finances/seen a final price yet?

 

Stripes going on. And the usual dealer stuff I suppose.

I got a number from them before I ordered - ! Seemed like the prudent thing to do.

 

Are bonnet stripes dealer installed? I dont have anything dealer installed config but I guess the stripes (since that would seem to make sense)
