Cherry Bomb glasspack swapped in.

So anyone swap out their catback's muffler for a glasspack or some other type of muffler? Any pics or videos? I'll try to get a video posted of this combo today or tomorrow. I love the sound plus it took away the drone that the aFe had.

Wow I had 2 of those on a 69 Nova I built with a 383 stroker motor for. Never would have thought to put one on my R56. Interested in hearing how it sounds

I ran a 12” long glass pack on my 05 R50 for years. Nice and loud! Maybe should have gone a tad longer. Lol

But Summit Racing Equipment stocks many shapes, brands and style glasspack!

See if this works, its been a while since I shared videos. I was in PJ's so hold the laughter to a minimum 😆.

I got the 18" and was thinking I could have gone 12" instead. I tested it without the muffler on, I was giggling my *** off in the car!!! I almost wanted to leave it muffler delete 😀.

Thanks, we really like it!!! It keeps the drone to a minimum inside the car also. The aFe muffler that came with the catback created a ton of drone, it was actually louder inside the car than the Bassani catless X pipe and Borla Stinger catback.combo in my Mach 1.

I just got the short glass pack installed in my r56 recently as well. I've got it paired with full resonator and 2nd cat delete with 2.5 inch piping all through to a 2.5 inch hatless dp. Currently tuned by MarioKart with rpm power stage 2. I'll take a sound clip of it tomorrow so you guys can see how mad the combo is with it all.

Sounds good! I still have the 2nd cat but resonator is gone and straight 2 1/2 pipe everywhere else. This really seemed to wake the car up power wise and I haven't even got it tuned yet. I have a o2 defouler I hope will turn the engine light off, just waiting on good weather so I can install it.

Thanks brotha! I would just skip out on the defouler and ride it out until you're able to get tuned. You're gonna love the flames and pops and bangs after getting it done!
