Justsa Cooper Magnaflow Muffler

After not seeing many videos of exhausts within a reasonable price range I noticed the VIP exhaust is a $110 Magnaflow muffler and some piping. I like how it sounds but for $650 you are getting taken. I went to the local muffler shop in town I go to for all my cars and had them order me a Magnaflow Stainless muffler and universal 3.5" exhaust tip, no pictures of it currently sorry. Went in this last week to have it welded in and see how it sounds. I think it sounds very similar to the VIP and I really like the sound. My DDM intake overpowers it in high RPM ranges which is fine, but it has a nice deep tone to it. I have not heard it with someone else driving yet though. I decided to make a video of how it sounds. This cost me $145 out the door installed tax included. Much better than $650 for the exact same thing. This only replaced the stock muffler at the rear of the car, no additional piping. If you want any other videos made let me know and I can shoot them. Sorry for the crappy video I put it together very quickly.

Enjoy!

Which exact model of Magnaflow muffler did you install? You left the resonator in place?

Resonator in place, yes. I believe it to have been this one: http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...=main&id=11059 But not 100% sure. It was offset/offset stock piping size stainless.

Thanks, that sound is just a bit deeper in tone than my OEM stainless muffler which has broken in well at 70k miles.

Slightly deeper but not loud or raspy. The intake overpowers it at a certain point which is what I was going for. I dig it. And for less than $150 can't beat it
