Just bought an 07 Cooper S. What do I need to do now…?

I just bought a 2007 Cooper S and am having a blast with it! I have done a little research on the cars and am aware of some of the issues (Chain Tensioners, etc). What recommendations do you guys have to lessen the chances of the Timing chain failing? The car has a small oil leak from the turbo supply line and maybe the oil pan. Are these big issues? One more: should I Sea Foam the oil and intake on this thing? It hasn't had much use over the last 2 years…
Thank you!!

hello,

If you can get the slack checked out or measured, that would tell you whats going on with the chain, this will tell you if its stretched and needs replaced or within spec.

Thank you!

Thanks for all your responses guys! I am taking my car into a reputable independent mech next week to give the car a thorough going over.
