Now with the supposed economic downturn , Will MINI start giving away more "STUFF" or less "STUFF"?

I've just received mine folks, and it seems Mini Canada has cheaped out on us. I got a bloody key chain! Plus a CD with some old tunes on it, and and a pack of Mini trivia cards. Ah well.

 

Well, that answers a question that I've had which is whether MINI Canada sends anything out at all...I went to the Calgary International Auto Show today and MINI didn't even bring along any JCWs. They did have the new convertible though...

 

I got a little mini box that had a mini pen, mouse pad, some stickers and some decoder for some web site or mag. It was pretty cool. I still use the pen and mouse pad actually.

 

I've been getting all kinds of goodies from since I bought my R50. It doesn't stop after you get a couple. You'll usually get a couple things each year.

 

We've passed 250 days of ownership, and still nothing... MINI says they had our address wrong (funny, they've said that three times and I've made sure it is correct all three times).

 

10 months still nothing

 

5 months nothing....don't really care for me...would give it to the kids.

 

I would not worry, although there is nothing in the first box that the kids would even want. Best thing in the box was a pen and mouse pad. The rest I tossed. But hey it was cool to get the box in. I did not expect it.

 

um... granted its only been 2 weeks, but i havent gotten anything, except a bill :D

the dealer did give me a tshirt and hat before i left tho... (spend $37g's and walk out with $20 worth of stuff, awesome).

 

I've also received residuals, and multiple shipments. When it rains, it pours!

I took delivery of mine on back in April and still haven't gotten anything. I haven't done anything as far as mailing anything in to register my car. I have sent them my first payment though. I figured the Dealer would have all of my info for MINI in my paperwork. IS there anything I should do to register my MINI?

I'm not going to get all bent out of shape if they are cutting back on sending goodies due to the economy, but I LOVE MINI stuff and if they always hand out schwag, I want my name on the list!

 

got my Adventurer's Kit last week, from my 3/28 delivery.

 

Also just got my MINI Adventure Field Kit (including that decoder thing that I am too stupid to figure out). I got my JCW on March 31.

In addition, got a lot of stuff from my dealer when I got my car (e.g., floor mats, key chains, umbrella, sports bag, console rubbers, extra iPod cable, JCW tag). Granted some of it is dealer-branded but, hey, it's free.

Zaubermeister - who is your dealer? Next time I'm shopping there. All I got for buying two cars was the silly Adventure kit and one set of floormats.

Did Zaubermeister pay MSRP, though? My dealer is an MSRP dealer, and they rarely throw in anything without a price tag.

 

Nope, Zaubermeister did not pay MSRP. And obviously not above. But how much off is between Zaubermeister and Giorgio. ;-)

I also got the adventure pack on my 07 2 years ago. So far nothing on my 09, (not even a bill...which is strange) but i have only had it 28 days.

 

+1 more, but i also had a white antenna ball with the union jack on it.

i took domina home on 01/23/2009 but didn't get my adventure kit until mid-april.

 

Got my Mini Adventure Field Kit two days ago from my 3/23 delivery made me feel all warm inside!

 

yup. a monthly bill for the next few years

It's been 42 days since i signed the papers.
