Finally got it!

Well, I was lurking and then decided I had to have one. I was on the fence about ordering an 08 vs. and 07 and then I found a used 2007 within 10 miles of my house with only 2000 miles on it! And it is pretty much how I'd order it anyway. So I feel I got a good price without having to wait for an ordered car (I don't have much patience, grasshopper)

It's an 07 MCS Sparkling Silver, Black top, Lounge Redwood Leather, Prem, Cold and Sport packages, LSD, HiFi, Comfort Access system, Chrome line int, Piano black dash, with 17" flat spoke and runflats.

I'm stoked but have already run into an issue registering it...the previous owners were both on the title and we didn't realize it. Only the husband signed and had his sig notarized...so now we gotta get that straightened out - it may be next week before I can drive it!

So, you have to wait after-all! Sounds awesome, and the silver looks great with redwood leather. I know you're gonna love it!

Nice find! The original owners are going to miss the car.

Cool, similar to my car (I have Tuscan leather). I almost went for the red myself. Don't go to the DMV for the registration. In AZ we have some independant businesses that do that stuff. For a $25 fee I can have a new registration done in 5 minutes as long as the people are there. How much did you save on the car over list may I ask?

In N.C. you have to go to the DMV......In California I could take car of this at AAA in about 15 minutes!

So its just sitting in my garage teasing me! Its like going out with a Playboy centerfold and only getting to hold hands!

Nice MCS, good set of options. Post some pictures when you get it to your home. Well I see it is home, where are the pics?

Did the previous owner say why they were selling at 07 after only 2k of driving?

It sounds like a good find and I hope you saved a bunch. Always nice to find what you want close to home.

Enjoy, keep us updated and drive safe.

Why were they selling? Unless they have a Ferrari and/or Porsche I would not buy such a low mileage used car.

I'm glad you wouldn't! You might have bought mine!

The people I bought it from originally bought this car in anticipation of giving it to their AuPair (spelling?) that they were hiring for their 3 daughters. They saw the car in the dealer show room and bought it cash. They immediately recognized the aupair wasn't going to work out and were left with this new car that they don't need. [They are in a different income bracket than most of us-you should see thier home!]. They have a supercharged LandRover sport and some other nice vehicles that usually get traded every two years. At first I thought it was an odd find, but I am very comfortable with it - each situation is different.

I can identify with folks who buy items for the aupair or various other reasons.

It appears you found a really nice MINI which is a nice addition to your family.

The MINI is fun, thanks for the update. Got those pictures, yet.

Yup, my daughter was an aupair (that's a nanny right?) for a family that had a spare Hummer, etc. at her disposal. Pix when you get a chance. We like pix.......

I haven't seen the car in the daylight since I bought it... So I haven't taken any pictures yet... As soon as I do - and if I can figure out how to post, I'll get some up there!

Where's that dixie-cup full of Kool-aid I'm supposed to drink?
