Whew~~ That's all.
It was a nice drive up the mountain with very little traffic. I had to try really hard to keep the engine speed below 4500 RPM.
Can't wait to take this car to the track.
You can see in the picture below where the clouds are covering up the peak of the mountain. It is still quite farther up the moutain. Mt. St. Helens is 8365 ft tall and I was just over 3000ft high. At 3000 ft the MCS passed other cars with ease...

I happened to be living in Vancouver, WA when Mt. St. Helens erupted 5/18/80. We got a lot of ash, boy was that ever fun to clean up. Luckily we didn't get it quite as bad as other places but it still wasn't fun.
I remember climbing up onto our garage to take pictures of the ash plumes. I should have held onto the couple of coffee cans full of ash that I had saved for several years. I've seen people selling it, with how much I had, I could of made a tidy sum of money from it.

Very nice...and a nice day to be out there too. Last time we went up in the MINI it was all cloudy and cold out.....thanks for sharing those...makes me want to make a run up there when I get back and before we move!
