Auto headlamps

I recently took delivery of my '07 MCS, Sport & Prem Package, and discovered one strange thing. According to the Owner's Manual p.73 I can adjust the sensitivity of my auto headlamp. Problem is, when I try to emplement this feature, found no such function.

Please advise...

Thanks,
iMoto

anything with the * symbol by it means that's a add-on feature. if you didn't add the auto headlights/windshield wipers then you won't be able to adjust it.

Auto headlights are part of the convenience package. I'm sorry, but you probably don't have this option, unless you ordered it seperately.

I assume you have the auto sensing headlights, as do I.

I went crazy trying to find the sensitivity adjustment menu, which wasn't there.

I finally contacted Mini USA and was told there was a software change that doesn't allow that to be adjusted. Said there may be a change in the future that allows it again, but for now we're stuck with not being able to adjust the auto headlights.

Was was supposed to be adjusted on them? The aim, or something else?

Thanks for the feedback guys, I really appreciate it.

Kool-aid does not have the Conv Pkg, but I thought Conv Pkg includes the following features:
1.) auto-dimming mirror
2.) rain-sensing windshield
3.) keyless access
4.) arm rest
5.) garage opener
6.) mobile phone prep

There is no mention of auto headlamp. Auto headlamp is means that the during the day, the DTR lights operate but when it gets dark or when the car passes by a dark area, the xenon will automatically illuminate. This is standard on BMW's with xenons.

Wait, I've got the auto lights, but no idea or clue where to change the sensitivity...Ifigured that wasn't a user-adjustable thing.

For those of us with the navigation system, it was supposed to be a driver-adjustable option in the "settings" menu. In the manual, it says it was to be in the same place where you can adjust the single or triple turn signal setting and turn on or off the daytime running lights.

And you happen to be correct. You cannot adjust it, and for good reason (if you think carefully about it).
