Congrats on getting your booking info! If you are interested we've posted links to all of the tracking maps for AISfree.AISlive.com and I think we've also posted the links for the Panama Canal web cams (if they aren't all there I'll post them this weekend) in the Isolde thread. If yo
Thanks, have the info and will post progress once it shows up some place.
For the last week or so it has not been found any where on the water, either it sank or stuck in port some place that does not provide web updates.

Hopefully you'll be lucky and they will turn on their weather reporting system so you can track it on http://www.sailwx.info/ not all ships turn the sytem on. If they don't you're stuck waiting until it is near land is being reported on AIS.
Good Luck!

Is your VDC Port Hueneme (it serves the West Coast)? If it isn't, it wouldn't have been on the Tarifa.

Some information that may save time for anyone following the Tarifa trek across the Atlantic.
The WW schedule shows arrivial at Manzanillo, Panama on 07/27, but it is misleading as in if you search google maps for Manzanillo Panama it will show an island in the Pacific Ocean.
Actually the port is in Colon Panama, and the facility is " Manzanillo International Terminal" which is just a few miles from the Atlantic entrance to the canal.

Thanks for the support
Until I read this thread, I thought I was alone in my all-consuming attempts to track my Mini. I am comforted to find I am not alone.
I was hoping I was wrong--that I just hadn't found the Tarifa's weather information and hadn't figured out how to track the ship. Apparently, the ship just isn't trackable. It's torture. We await images from Panama.
I guess I can focus on selling my current car while I wait. Anyone in Northern CA need a boring Honda Civic in good shape? It'd make a great first car for your high school or college student...no turbo to get a kid in trouble.

Below is the link for AISLive, and should see her show up Thursday afternoon/evening I'm estimating. ETA for the Manzanillo dock is Friday 01:00, I'll be checking for most of the day and will post as soon as she is sighted.

sailwx.info
For any that are wondering why Tarifa and other ships are not trackable, the link below has the details. The sailwx sight uses VOS data (Voluntary Observing Ship) from ships equiped with the hardware/software that have joined the Voluntary At Sea Weather Reporting.
The hardware/software is installed & maintained free of charge to the ship owners, but it appears many of the WW ships do not take part in the VOS project.

Tharkun--
Thanks for providing such detailed info.
I was wondering...if you are in Tracy, our Minis may be traveling together all the way to the dealer. Where does a person from Tracy order a Mini? Niello? Only catch: I'm told my Mini may be held up after docking because it will get its racing stripes prior to getting on the Sacramento-bound truck.
