I don't mean to do that
. If they are saying you are in week 29 then your car should finish production next week. Week 29 is July 15th through the 21st. It should start production soon if it is in week 29. I thought the same as you originally posted, that the week was based on the start of production but I was quickly correct here on NAM.
I was posting in the week 25 group and I was actually in the week 26 group.

I was contemplating sending NAM gremlins to visit your house!

If I can be of any help, let me know. My Mini should be going through the Panama Canal sometime this weekend so I've had recent experience with the process. I can point you to all the tracking maps and Canal webcams and such
. I'll soon be part of a two Mini family myself. I know you will be soon as well
I'll jump in the MOCD thread in the morning... for now I have to refresh the Owners Lounge site every 15 minutes for the next 8 hours until I take an hour break to drive to work.
We love being part of a 2 mini family
my 04 MCS and her 06 MCSc... the best is going grocery shopping, we always take both MINIs wherever we go... so we always hear... "Look thier cars are so small thay have to carry home groceries in two of them." to which we reply... "We don't have to, it's just more fun this way!"

7/12/07 - Body Shop
7/15/07 - Complete
That depends on where it is headed. If it's to the West Coast, we only have one ship per week that usually leaves every Monday. If it is going to the East Coast then it there are far more choices. From what I've seen, your Mini generally needs to be at the port approximately 3 days before your ship is scheduled to depart Southampton.

I think the trip itself(to the East Coast) is something like 9-11 days or so depending on which port. I believe that time frame for when it would make its first port of call on the trip. The trip to the West Coast takes about 21 days depending on delays going through the Panama Canal.
Congrats *confetti*
I hope MINIUSA has some good news for Mike today.
Or perhaps he's going to learn that they haven't been able to work on his yet, because they were building the ones for Mini S Pilot, Gopher, and Penny.
:impatient I kid, I kid.
He'll be very happy for each of you!
Whoohooo!!!
Congrats MINI S Pilot, Gopher, and Penny!! Very glad to hear you got your dates...
Tell me... does having a date mean you are less likely to have fingernails embedded in the surface of the desk now?
Truly I am glad to hear the news

Mine will come into the South Carolina VPC. Last time, it only stayed there about 2-3 days, and then was at the dealer (Atlanta - MoSA) very shortly after that. My MA was really surprised how quickly this one has gone into production
SOooooo ....
Mike I feel that today is YOUR DAY for some really good news!

What finger nails?
I believe they disappeared upon trying to figure out what I wanted option wise before ordering.
Mike's at work now....undoubtedly hitting "refresh" every 10 mins and calling MINIUSA as I type this.
I must say...it's odd to sit here in our office and not have the Owner's Lounge music playing in the background.
