Just spoke to my MA...our OBMC is still at the port waiting to be processed...the MA said he's not sure why it hasn't been processed yet, as it's been at the port since just after noon on Saturday (he also said that he has another one in the same boat). We're shooting for a Monday AM delivery...keeping our fingers crossed...

Here's hoping there is some good juju headed your way. My MA said mine is due in port tomorrow and it should be about a week before it hits the dealer!

 

my ship (western highway) arrived in port today @ 2:20 eastern time.....unloading starts @ 8 am tomorrow.

 

I just got back from picking up my MINI. This car is so sweet! A little un-nerving driving home. It was dark, pouring down rain and lighting flashin' all over the place, and it was an hour and a half drive.

But we made it safe and sound. I can't wait to take her for a drive in the daylight. I'll give her a quick wash and post some pictures tommorrow.

Congratulations! I think my MINI rode with yours on the Frisia. My estimated delivery date is tomorrow

 

According to the Owner's Lounge, mine is still en route...anyone else waiting for theirs to be handled by the NJ VDC? It was unloaded from the ship at 2pm Saturday afternoon...I'm getting antsy (big surprise), and it's not eased at all by my MA saying he doesn't know what the holdup is... :(

 

1-866-ASK-MINI has (finally) updated to "in transit" but the owner's lounge still has me at the VDC. My estimated delivery date is still 8/7/07 (yesterday). I guess my MA will be getting a call today...

 

My MA told me that she can see when the MINI is released to the truck line and is headed to the dealership.

 

Our Salesman says they are expecting our MINI at their door on Monday 8/13 and we are hoping for a Friday delivery

 

WOOT! My Pepper White MINI is at the dealer! Will pick up on Saturday and post pictures!

 

Time is growing short. MINI (The Wombat) is in port today and I should have it in about 10 days or so. Just can't wait... So since I have an iPOD and will be getting the connector installed, I thought I would come up with a special mix just for taking the MINI home:

Our MINIs may be sharing the same truck ride stopping in Houston first to deliver yours, then San Antonio for ours. Maybe I'll go camp out along I-10 to see it as it passes by on the Auto transport..... THEN ours will travel to Friendswood to see Family and go see the ASTROS.......

Still no word from my MA.
Now the Owner's Lounge has changed the delivery date from 8/7/07 to 8/10/07.

This is torture.

 

Brilliant! I'll know it's you because I have not seen any Chili Red MINIs in Friendswood thus far (one Liquid Yellow and two Silver).

I'll be sure and wave!

 

Introducing Alice....not the best Pics, Mother Nature has not been very cooperative the last few days. Hopefully I can take the car out this weekend and get some good shots.

My Mini was delivered Tuesday evening, on one of the hottest summer evening thus year. I just posted a thread introducing...Shelby Jr.

Congrats to those who are finally getting theirs. I'm feeling for those of you still in waiting. Hang in there, it is so worth the wait. I know that's hard to swallow, but I was there just hours ago biting my nails right along with you all.

 

Congrats on Shelby Jr. Very nice! Seeing yours, I'm glad I opted to get the driving lamps.

I'm trying to be patient ... my MINI was supposed to begin the journey to the dealership yesterday.

 

I've been looking for it at the dealership since last Friday. I really had my hopes up for having it over the weekend. Last weekend that is. It just didn't happen that way. It was so worth the wait. I have a new name for PMS while waiting for the Mini, but I won't go there.

 

I'm bummed. My MA said my MINI, which was supposed to be delivered to the dealership today, still hasn't been released to the truck line .

 

My MA just emailed me to say that our new baby should be at the dealership today or tomorrow OL still says in transit, while 866-ASK-MINI says awaiting shipment. Guess ours fell off the radar or something...

Right now we're aiming to take delivery on Monday, if I can get the time off work to go pick it up...fingers crossed that my boss is in a good mood today

Friday afternoon my MA sent me a great email.

"They are unloading your car from the truck right now."

10AM Monday morning we take delivery...can't wait!
