Thanks , unfortunately though my trial subscription to AISLive expires tomorrow. After that I won't be able to provide the real time updates on ship positions in the AIS system.

Though I can give directions in regards to the best answers to give on the trial request page so that they'll set up an trial subscription for you or someone else. I'd just hold off until at least Aug 1st or 2nd to submit the request that way you can make sure it is still in effect when the Carmen gets to Port Hueneme.

 

Well, I thought the Freedom would have been off from AIS some time ago, but it isn't. Here is the latest screen capture of her. The first one is zoomed out a bit so you can see where she is at and the second one is zoomed in so you can see her name on the map.

 

Just to satisfy Mike's MOCD. The Carmen is still moored in Belgium.

 

Well, it appears as if I won't be able to provide any more real time updates for you all. AIS has shut off my trial subscription. I wasn't expecting it this soon otherwise I'd have tried staying logged in to see what happens. I can't get logged in now. I feel like they cut it short. My my count it has only been 13 days not 14. I've emailed them asking about it but I doubt they will turn it back on.

 

Woohoo! I've found another free AIS site. They have coverage for the US only that includes the South West and some coverage on the East Coast. It is a free registration. Please see this post for details.

EDIT: This thread has info additional info. I found another site that covers the English Channel

Thanks, , I try to share .... . I feel like I'm an honorary member of the SDMike Support Unit and by default of the West Coast Mini's. Unfortunately, I haven't made it down to CA in the past 5 years or so and I don't really anticipate going down there anytime soon. Oh well... such is life.

Update from MA -
The FAUST is scheduled to arrive at Port Jersey on 7/26. After the driving lights are installed it will be put on a covered truck and hauled to Checkered Flag Mini dealership in Virginia Beach, VA .

 

The Carmen is still moored. Did someone want to start a Carmen thread or shall I keep posting here?

 

If it's too much/too frequent information and will drive the folks here insane, Simpson...we can take it to our "I can't believe it" thread. No probs
