AISLive and AISfree alternatives
I've found a couple of great alternative AIS sites for tracking your ships. The google map versions of both sites is great! This first one covers the English channel only so you would use it initially, the maps are updated every 10 minutes. No registration is required.
The second one is for the US only, they cover the South West (for those going to Port Hueneme) and they have some East Coast coverage as well. A free registration is required for this site. There google map version is awsome!!
