Irritating reflection in driver's door mirror
What a great car, but what's with the reflection from the polished chrome ring on the air vent by the driver's window creating a halo on the exterior mirror?

That would explain it. Add shiny things to the dash and you are likely see reflections in the windows and mirrors. Dark interiors tend to make for better viewing out the windows.
