or maybe the diesel they claim ISN'T coming to the US?

Almost looks like it has fender flares... like a slight widebody look to it...

That'd be my guess... bigger rear fenders mean bigger rear wheels/tires. Suppose the JCW will have two different size tires (f & r)? Corvettes do.

 

Hood looks like it's hiding something. But, maybe I am jonesing for some coffee.

Anyone else notice the opening in the bonnet panel for the hood scoop? Normal S the scoop isnt functional so if this is an actual MINI test car this could be interesting. Maybe JCW doing a ram air intake to make it functional, that would be nice. Although correct me if im wrong shouldnt a JCW car also have the JCW front bumper? that car looks like its got a normal one.

 

Rear bumper looks like its from the factory bodykit *shrug*

 

That would not make sense on a front wheel drive car.
