R50/53 Picking up our First Mini T O D A Y
Picking up our First Mini T O D A Y
We will be picking up our first Mini today.
It is everything we wanted.
2006 Mini Convertible
All the buttons we wanted
My wife's favorite color
Heated seats ... One might wonder why I might want heated seat in Florida... when you have a sore back turn on the heater and ride down a bumpy road and nothing better than that kind of massage on an ole back.
We live in Zephyrhills Florida and look forward to meeting up with everyone once I figure out where you all are and how to hook up with you all.
Don't know much about MINIs so I will be doing a lot of reading.
What is with this R5X thing... How do I find out which R5X is my Mini?

+1 you have the R codes right above. R52 is the chassis ( Non S ) Non Supercharged. . "Justa Cooper" is what its referred to sometimes, also MCC for short on the forums.
Looks great , reposted it for you a little bigger:

I know you have some cool nights in zypehrhills sometimes. The heated setas make it nice for those cool nights.
More info on the heated seats here.

Welcome to NAM, and Congrats on your new-to-you MINI! Be sure to check out Sunshine MINI's here. If you scroll down you'll find subforums for regional clubs like BAM (Bay Area MINIs for those of us in/around Tampa Bay). Most hold regular meetups; just dinner, good camaraderie, and a bit of car talk, but a whole lotta fun.
You can also find some good info on local repair shops, should you need/want a resource for work aside from the dealers. Lots of good people in SSM and helpful local info on the boards.
Happy Motoring!
