I would love to be on the Faust with you arriving in Newark 7/26. That would be awesome!
Gopher428 - My information came straight from the WW site. I didn't get any info on it arriving in Newark 7/26 though. I did print out the Booking Details. This has 1 1/2 pages of others VINs on the ship with me. PM me your VIN and I'll see if it's on it.

Penny
If you are not seeing your shipping info on the WW sight after entering your Vin #, there are a couple of possabillities:

1) If your Mini is not going to the west coast, you could be on one of the other shipping lines, and those can be confusing to find shipping info.

2) If you are on the WW ships, your ship date is not in the data base yet.

Also the wait at the dock varies, my Mini was on the dock for 7 days before ships arrivial. So just keep checking and see if any info updates on the WW sight. Good Luck

Correct, if it goes by WW, it won't be listed on the WW site until approximately 3 days before the ship is scheduled to depart.

Is the dealership itself or MiniUSA the party responsible for the Booking Number on the ship? Mine was set back on 5/3/07 and I didn't even order the car until 6/30/07. Could this be Penny's hold up maybe?

Booking dates are assigned to the dealer's slots along with production weeks. So they are actually assigned by the Mini factory.

ITs LOADED

on the vessel departing today due in NY 7/29 and then due in Charleston 8/4/2007, the same day we are scheduled to attend our first MINI meet in Austin sans MINI obviously.

I wouldn't be surprised if we take delivery 4-5 weeks from time of order placement.

My Cargo Status Hisotry from the WW site shows my car on the FAUST, but when you do a search for the vessel you'll see that the Liberty shows up. I've seen somewhere that the FAUST has been renamed the Liberty. Wonder why WW doesn't have their info corrected to reflect this change. Confusioning :impatient for folks with no experience tracking vessels.

So as of 10:00 a.m. here here we are if you share this vessel with my Mini...

I'm loaded on the Freedom as of 9:31....UK time

The booking details for the Freedom show at least 100 other VINs...I wonder who else will be making the journey with us? I have a feeling it will be a long and tedious 2 weeks until Charleston...

By the way LOP, I noticed you ordered your MINI the same day as mine. We are on such similar schedules, I suspect our cars might have been assembly line buddies.

Looks like there is some confusion for sure.

The WW pages shows Faust voyage # EA728-FAT departing Southampton 07/18 and arriving at Halifax on 07/24, the going to New York, Baltimore, Charleston and Brunswick.

Liberty voyage # NB726-LIB made stops at New York, Charleston, Brunswick, and departed 07/17 heading east for Bremerhaven Germany arriving 07/28.

The sailwx pages does show the Liberty, but it shows a voyage that is going east, so hopefully you are not on that ship.

Also info shows the Libery as owned by :
INTEROCEAN AMERICAN SHIPPING
221 LAUREL RD SUITE 300
VOORHEES, NJ 08043-2349
ATTN CAPT HARRY ROGERS

Which looks like it is another part of ARRCNET.com which is one of the three WW lines. I'm just having morning coffee so I could have this info all wrong.:impatient

Mike, What a nice thing to do after you have a great holiday at MITM2 with all your family and friends.

Hey, that is some price tag, what could you add to make it 40K?

Great to see you have a ship to track, more MOCD to come.

Heh, that is pretty much my story as well. Mine is about 36k and I didn't get any of the JCW kit stuff, if I did, I'm sure it would be 40k.

Here is a link to the Southampton port website. They do have a live web cam that might capture the Carmen depending on exactly which berth she ends up at. The Southampton arrival and departure schedule can be found here. The web cam and schedule information is from the Southampton port page from the Live Information drop down menu bar. I'll see if can find a picture of the Carmen from AIS.

If anyone is planning on trying to sign up for the two week trial for their subscription site, hold off. Send in your request approximately 8-9 days after she leaves Southampton. You'll want to make sure it is still in effect when the Carmen is approaching Port Hueneme.

If I can, I will gladly post pics from the subscription site as she arrives and leaves Southampton. That is the day that my trial is set to expire and the day I hope the Isolde makes it to Port Hueneme (I may have gotten my subscription a day or two too early as the Isolde was held up a bit going through the Canal).

I'm not sure what you're trying to tell me here. I want the ship to come east, I'm in Virginia Beach, VA.

Looked through sites again. The Faust was sold and now carries the Liberty name. When you plug in the Faust while searching for the ship on WW it directs you to the Liberty.

This should be correct.

AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!

My car has been at the port for 3 days now and still no info on the WW website.

Since I'm in Chicago I think I count as "East Coast" and may be on another ship line.

The waiting is killing me!

Correct, it will go through one of the East Coast VDCs. You have a 33% chance of it going by WW. The waiting is a killer....
