It would be completely pointless to fly to Panama. There is no way to influence the order of ships going through the canal, and you'd probably just get arrested as a potential terrorist.

Alright, here's the deal. My wife (and kids) think I have completely lost it over this whole "waiting for the Mini" thing. If I could only get her to read some of Mike and Tig's posts, she would consider me completely sane!!

 

Providing reassurance to other MINI-owners-in-waiting that they are not quite insane, as we are the poster children for insanity....it's just one of the many services the Tig, Mike, and West Coast MINI team provide.

Mike, you'll be able to see the update when you get back home. With how patient and understanding Tigs is, you should at least try to pacify her a little. She seems to be very, very supportive of your MOCD.

Besides, when I checked last night, at about 11:15 PM, the update hadn't posted yet so even though they report at the top of the hour, it doesn't get posted immediately . The big red dot will be in the latest reported position when you get home. Now, if it updated every hour or so, then you would miss some information so that would be a different story altogether .

 

Not bad for a carrier, actually.

 

If she tries to throw me in the trash... I'll have to do the thing she hates most...
