Emily, not sure when we will get out that way. I'm working on Pat to drive Scooter to see the Redwoods and Crater Lake (on our NP list).

We shall see, if it happens next year. Perhaps around AMVIV time, since I can drive north west after AMVIV and she can fly to Oregon. Really depends if we are paying tuition and expenses for two kids in college or one. Daughter will look for a job in January after final graduation until she goes to Pharmacy/Med in the fall.

Hey, I forgot to mention, my next door neighbor purchased an 07 MC, OB/W. A real nice MC. His only option was the sport stripes on the bonnet. Pat keeps reminding me he is not a 'POOM', but I'm working on him.

About the lowest price 07, I have seen come out of Schomp. They are driving the heck out of it. It is his commuter to the bus stop, but I think the wife has stolen his MC.

Mike, Tigs, Robin, Gary, I hope you all have a fun, happy and warm Thanksgiving.

I will be driving the MINI out to Missouri on Monday, it should be an interesting trip, back in early December, but I will be on NAM via the laptop.

 

Thanks for the good wishes. I'm just now getting on NAM after a nice dinner at friend's. I hope you all had a good Thanks Giving day. Now to go sleep it off.

 

Busy, busy, busy.....

Life's been hectic but fruitful! I've installed a couple of mods from ALTA and I'm waiting for a few more.

My MiL (mother-in-law) took delivery on her MINI on Nov 10th. I know, I still need to post some pictures from that day. She loves her new baby. She just needs to find the time to have a clear bra installed on it.

My pooch is doing well. She has another check up next week I think. If it would stay dry here for a while we can now take her on walks to start rehabilitating the muscles in her leg and knee. She's very happy that we've given her back her favorite toy, a squeaky ball that she will tire you out with.

I've also started up a MINI club for my area (Emerald MINI Car Club). We have clubs North, East, and South of us and now we finally have one without having to drive 1-2 hours to get to any event start points. I'm still working on getting the website filled in with content and I'm still thinking about a logo for us. I had to scrap my original idea as MINI USA did not approve it. I wanted to incorporate the MINI wing logo and they won't allow it as that is a trademarked image.

The whole thing is still a work in progress.

All you Cali folks can get some motoring done, we had 5 inches of new snow around the house. At least the MINI is warm.

 

I think I'm gonna refuse to motor in snow. We'll take my wife's Mazda 3. But Merry Christmas to all!
