R56 I can't believe it...
Soooo, uhhh, I guess since Ed and Blair aren't "playing" today, they are absentarily (<---that's a new word!!!) volunteering to be the butterees tonight!!
It looks like the Carmen isn't due to leave Southampton until tomorrow at 17:00 UTC according the departure schedule on the Southampton web site. That means I can concentrate on the Isolde today.
If the loading process for the Carmen goes like what it did for the Isolde, the majority of them will actually be loaded onto it tomorrow. The go on rather really rather quick.

Mod night is tomorrow though I do wish today was Tuesday already

....Mike is not going to take this delay with the Carmen very well.
Now is when he starts stalking the shipping company employees..."where are they", "what are they doing", "are they working 3, 8 hr shifts", "who is on an unauthorized break", "who is available to answer my questions", "why aren't they picking up the phone", "what are their home addresses"....gah!, just when I thought we were in the clear from Restraining Orders....
Speaking of mod night, even though my mind is still on hot, buttered hiney night, next week will feature a special guest... Miniwildcat! Malibu Stacy is scheduled to receive her pulley.
Rumor has it special tools will be involved.

He's a legend. Pulley installs are fun! I think Blair's count of pulleys is up to .....7ish. He even bought the "special" tool. He and Mike have done them in tandem too! 2 MINIs, side by side in the garage....both getting pulley'd.
There is never a dull moment. Is Malibu Stacy excited, or skeeert?
Not new.
Usually we say it behind your backs.
Malibu Stacy is excited. She enjoys new accessories of all kinds, and is looking forward to keeping up better with Bam Bam.

Just to add a sadistic note, My MCS was at the dock and scheduled to be loaded on the MAERSK WAVE. However, that little boat filled up before my MINI was aboard, and it had to wait a whole extra week sitting on the dock, until the ISOLDE to arrived. So, just because your MINI is schedule to board the Carmen doesn't mean it will board the Carmen.

:impatient
o crap....there goes a peaceful night on the homefront. As if potential flooding and talk of the Carmen sinking weren't bad enough.
Mike, The hardest part about the wait, for me, was trying to find out why the ship didn't move faster!
Tracking the ship is fun. I watched the tides, wind speed, kind of birds spotted (?) and all that important stuff to fill the time. We're all pullin' for you.

Congrats!! You'll be tracking the Carmen via www.sailwx.info soon. From past trips she's made, she does turn on her weather reporting system.
